Chapter 2

Gakupos POV

I waited for Kaito at my locker... What was he doing? I put some books into my bag and closed the locker door. He wasn't there. I sighed and searched for my keys so I can went into our room on my own. After a few seconds I found my keys and started walking. I turned the corner and saw Kaito. But he wasn't alone. A short teal haired girl with a cute face and bright eyes was with him. Miku. I chuckled. Why am I so stupid? I totally forgot that he's dating someone. I didn't interrupted them because they were both red like tomatoes. She was talking to him but I couldn't understand what they were talking about. Apparently she was asking him something because he smiled an nodded. She blushed deeper and squealed before hugging him and ran away. Weird girl. I stayed at the corner until I was shure that she was gone.

»So you became a ladykiller?« I asked Kaito. He looked a bit confused but then started laughing.

»We're just friends!« he told me. I raised one eyebrow.

»Do friends look like tomatoes?« I asked him.

»What?« he asked. I rolled my eyes and he immediately understood.

»Yeah okay I like her ... I guess.« he admitted.

»You do.« I said and laughed a little. He wasn't resisting so porbably I was right. We started walking to our room until Kaito suddenly stopped.

»Shit! I don't have ice cream anymore!« Kaito cursed and I sighed.

»I can go to the supermarket if you want me to... I need some eggplants.« I said and he smiled. Lazy potato.

»But I want to get rid of my bag. It's pretty heavy.« I added and Kaito nodded. We walked a few meters in silence before we reached the dorms.

»Do you think about telling me what Miku asked you?« I asked Kaito and he grinned like a fool.

»She was kind of asking me out.« he said and I laughed.

»She had to ask you out? Wow Kaito! Never thought you'd be that shy!«

»There's nothing wrong with it!« he complained and I giggled.

»Next time ask her first... Girls like that.« I said and he raised one eyebrow.

»And how do you know mr "I never had a girlfriend"?« he asked me and I smiled.

»Trust me.« I replied and grinned. Okay he was right I never had a relationship but I had a few dates so I know a few things. We walked to our room and I unlocked the door. I dropped my bag on the floor and jumped right into my bed. I never wanted to leave this place.

»Hey you lazy scumbag! Stand up!« Kaito yelled at me and I chuckled.

»You call me a lazy scumbag? I'm going to buy you some ice cream so you're the lazy one here.« I said and he rolled his eyes.

»Yeah but we don't have any food so please hurry!« he whined and I raised one eyebrow and laughed.

»The fridge is full... but okay. I will go now.« I sighed. Kaito looked happy and handed me some money. It was warm outside so I left my jacket in my room. I squinted my eyes as soon as the sun hit my face. It was pretty sunny today and some birds were singing. I walked to the supermarket near the campus and grabbed a shopping basket. I went to the vegetables and grabbed some eggplants. I also put some rice into my basket and went to the freezer to get some ice cream for Kaito. I put 3 boxes of ice cream in my basket and went to the checkout. I paid for the food and bagged them. I exited the shop and almost bumped into Yohio. What was he doing here? Didn't he say that he has plans or so?

»Hey Gakupo! What are you doing?« he asked me.

»Obviously I bought some food...« I answered his question. Never thought he would really ask this in front of a supermarket.

»Yeah ... um ... I have to buy some food for my grandma. She's pretty old so I try to help her a little.« He said and scratched the back of his head. I squinted my eyes a little but nodded. Didn't he say that his family is living far away from here? Liar.

»How kind of you... You're probably her favourite grandchild.« I said and he nodded a little bit.

»Yes I have a lot of things to do... school is pretty hard right now and stuff...« He laughed and I just nodded.

»Well then have fun with your granny. The ice cream is melting.« I said and gave him a fake smile. I don't like him and never did. He just lied to his girlfriend instead of telling her that he's not in the mood for hanging out with her. I shook my head and walked a little faster because the ice cream was really melting in the warm sun. I went into my room and put the food in the fridge. Kaito grabbed one of the ice cream boxes and started eating.

»You had fun?« he asked me while shoving more and more ice cream inside his mouth.

»Oh yes... I met Yohio.« I said and Kaito looked a little confused.

»Didn't he told Luka that he has plans?« he asked me and I nodded.

»Yes he did. He told me that he's buying food for his grandma... I really can't stand this lying asshole. Luka is such a nice person! He should be happy about being her boyfriend.« I said.

»And you should stop trying to hit on her. This girl is taken.« He simply replied. I rolled my eyes.

»I'm not hitting on her. This is my attitude.« I said and Kaito shot me a glare.

»You are trying to hit on her. But maybe you don't realize it. Whatever that's none of my buisness but please don't tear them apart because you're an egoistic asshole or so.« He said and I chuckled. He really thinks that I would do such a horrible thing to Luka. Okay maybe I'm egoistic but I would never do this to my friends.

»And maybe his fridge was empty so he had to buy some food before doing whatever he was up to do?« Kaito asked me.

»Then explain why he told me that he's buying food for his grandma.« I said. Kaito shrugged.

»Maybe he was just awed? You can be really creepy.« He said and I laughed.

»Thank you. That's a beautiful compliment. Whatever. Maybe I'm just overreacting because I don't like him.« I sighed and shook my head. Kaito nodded and grinned.

»Exactly!« he said and i started grinning too. Sometimes I was really happy about having Kaito as a friend. He put his ice cream in the small icebox and yawned. He turned around and searched for the remote control. It took him a few minutes to find it because it was covered with clothes. Kaito turned on the television and zapped through the channels. He didn't found anything interesting and started complaining about his boredom.

»I'll go to the common room. Wanna come with me?« he asked me. He was insupportable when he was bored so I decided to join him. The common room was one of the best part about the dorms. Most of the students were spending their time there because they were able to talk to friends or just hang around there. We entered the room and I saw Rin, Len and Gumi sitting on one of the couches.

»...And then we hung some old fish in his wardrobe.« Len said with a proud voice as I sat down. Gumi started laughing and Rin and Len were grinning at each other in a very proud way.

»Guys you're crazy!« Kaito laughed and shook his head. He was right. The twins were crazy. But also pretty funny because they were the masters of tricks. I will never forget about the guy that woke up without eyebrows because the twins shaved them while he was asleep.

»Gaku~??« Rin asked me with a grin and I immediately knew that she wanted me to do her a favour.

»Yes?«

»Well... Would you buy us some alcohol for the holidays? You look like an adult so they probably won't ask you for your ID.« she smiled and I sighed.

»Yes I can if you want me to.« I said and she smiled. This girl was always overreacting...
