Chapter 11

Gakupos POV

Luka seemed to be a little distracted as we made our way to the party. Her eyes were empty and sometimes she bit her lip.

»Are you sure about that?« I asked her.

»Yes. I'm fine.« she said in a cold voice that confused me a little bit. She didn't act like that a few seconds earlier. She wasn't fine at all and she was a terrible liar. I didn't ask again because she wouldn't have told me the truth anyway. I heard music that came from the twins room. We will be there in a few seconds... Luka shouldn't go... I'll keep an eye on her. Me thoughts were confusing but I tried to understand them. Luka went through an awful experience and its obvious that she needed some support.
We entered the twins room and everyone was staring at us. Especially Kaito. He grinned like an idiot as he saw aus. Baka! I shook my head to show him that it's not the right time to have dirty thoughts.

»Hello hellooo!! So why are you guys late? You had some fun huh?« Rin asked and smirked.

»No.« Luka answered in the same cold tone as earlier.

»I'm sorry... joke! So where is Yohio?« Rin asked her.

»I broke up with him. He cheated on me.« Mikus eyes widened in shock as she heard the words. She went towards Luka and gave her a comforting hug.

»Oh God I'm so sorry!« she exclaimed while Rin's mouth was wide opened because she didn't know what to say.

»And what happened to your arm?« Len asked and scratched the back of his head.

»I fell of the bicycle...« She lied.

»I drove her to the hospital.« I added because I felt really awkward.

»That's pretty nice of you.« Gumi said and Luka snorted.

»I still don't like him.« she said and looked at me. My confusion got bigger and her words kind of hurt me a little bit. She changed her mood so fast and I felt guilty. This wouldn't have happened if I hadn't spoken to Yohio about Luka. I'm sure. I spent too much time with her or made cocky comments and that got her into trouble. Now she knows that he is an asshole but she had to go through a horrible scenario.

»Good that he isn't free in the holidays.« Kaito said and the twins looked at him.

»And if so.... We won't allow him to come with us!« they said in unison. Miku took Luka by the hand and started to talk to her while I was making my way to Kaito.

»Please save me and give me something to drink.« I sighed and he gave me some sake. I drank the shot and closed my eyes.

»Are you okay?« Kaito asked me curiously.

»Yes... But too much happened.« I said and observed Luka and Miku. Miku seemed to ask various questions while Luka was keeping her emotionless face.

»So... she's free now. Good luck bro.« he grinned and I shook my head.

»Not now... I see her as a friend.« I said and Kaito started laughing.

»You can't accept the fact that you like her.« he giggled.

»And if so... She needs some time.« And maybe a therapy. I sighed and drank another drink. I knew that alcohol wasn't a solution but I ignored it.

»Listen. I don't want to know what exactly happened because it's none of my business but I think it was really horrible. Just look at her face. It's so cold even towards Miku.« he said after a few seconds and he was right. She looked like a new Luka right now with those empty eyes and her serious face.
