In the state of Minnesota lies a city running rampant with all kinds of ghastly paranormal activity. It is no secret that in Amity Park, ghosts are a part of everyday life. You can never escape them since they always lurked and there were just too many to get rid of all of them. There was a time when Vlad Masters could care less about the quaint little town in a place he wouldn't dare to go. He was too busy basking in his luxurious lifestyle, lavishing in money and copious amounts of fame.

Only did Amity Park make a difference to the man was when he heard the news of his old college classmate living there with his perfect family that Vlad was robbed from at a young age. All the growing bitter resentment turned into spite for the less than intelligent Jack Fenton. To the point of where he was willing to kill in order to steal his wife and children from him.

He'd formulated a plan a year ago to invite Jack to a college reunion in order to dispose of him once and for all. Things didn't go according to plan due to a simple fact he was not prepared for. The ghost boy he'd been hearing so much about also happened to be the son of the idiot who ruined his life decades prior.

His foolishness created another mistake that wasn't so easily reversible and Vlad had offered his extensive training and expertise that the ghost boy disrespectfully rejected. Now not only did he have a bumbling idiot still alive, he also had to deal with a fourteen year old boy in high school trampling all over his plans. Months passed with multiple back and forths between both parties until the former Mayor of Amity Park had to run for election again.

Vlad believed he had all the right qualities to be a politician and he knew it would also destroy the ghost boy to see him taking over his town and making it impossible for Danny Phantom to live in. So he'd won with the help of his own ghost powers to obtain the right amount of votes.

And that was where he was now, sitting in another mansion in the richer part of Amity Park with all the surveillance he could ever want. Every person was a pawn on the chess board and he would move the pieces in whatever direction he saw fit. But even through his power status as Mayor, the ghost boy continued to trump him, leaving Vlad in a long string of misfortune.

He was getting more and more impatient as time went on and he was starting to wonder if he would ever expose of both Jack Fenton and his son. Though that would have to wait as of right now since he was going to sit down and enjoy a nice cup of tea on his living room sofa.

The atmosphere was quiet, his pet cat Maddie perched up on the arm of the couch, waiting for its master to arrive. Vlad sat upon the cushioned furniture and reached for his television remote to see if he could find anything interesting enough to watch. That peace would be short lived as the most unthinkable thing he could have ever imagined happened.

The whirling sound above him broke through the silence. It was a noise akin to the sound his ghost portal would make when he'd open it to complete one of his many tasks. But the ghost portal was not loud enough to be heard upstairs, so he found it peculiar.

The sound became louder as each second past, his eyes looking up at the ceiling in case it came from the ceiling fan . . . no. That would be much too normal for a day in Amity Park. Above him was a glowing, green swirling portal stretching wide open. Vlad had the right mind to jump off the sofa as not to be suffocated by what was coming out of the portal. In mere seconds, the portal spit out people. How many, he couldn't tell within the moment. They crashed onto his sofa in a pile. A chorus of groans escaped the pile as the person on top lifted up their head.

"W-What happened?" A male voice came out of them. Vlad stared at the teenager who opened his mouth. The one thing he noticed about this boy was his shaggy, yellow blonde hair with a black lightning bolt weaving through a fringe. His eyes were a vibrant yellow with a lick of electricity dancing within his irises. He looked around the area with a confused expression on his face.
