"I'm too busy." They pushed passed her and continued to walk away. To back peddle back to them in the small room took only two steps, and she delivered her argument standing between them and the computer.
"It's been three days since you did something besides this. A brief distraction will clear up your perspective." The lines were soft and direct, delivered like she knew what would be good for them. They paused and she sealed the deal, "I only need three minutes of your time." Where she expected a resignant sign was instead an earnest look... a stare, that changed her mind/ resolved her playful attitude. She blinked away from their gaze and pulled up their left hand with both of hers, finger tips spreading against the center of their palm.
