Chapter 8

Shawn's POV
Me, Jack G, Taylor, Nash, Cameron, Aaron, and Carter are all hanging out at my house. The Johnson's didn't come because they had some brother sister day, and Matt didn't come because none of us like him. "So what do you guys wanna do?" Jack asked. "Truth or Dare?" Carter asked. "Let's just play truth because I don't wanna make my parent mad."

I told them. "Aw Shawn you're no fun." Taylor said. I shrugged and Aaron started off. "So Taylor do you like anyone right now." Aaron asked. "Uhm ya." Taylor said blushing. "Ooh" we all said. "Well who is it?" Cam asked. "Cat" he said shyly.

No way I like her too. "Oh Shawn." Cam said. "Did I say that out loud?" I asked. "Yes" they all said. "Well I guess Shawn and Taylor will have to fight for Cat's heart huh?" Cameron said.

I looked at Taylor and we both shook our heads. "We will just have to let her pick." Taylor said. I agreed. We had dinner then the boys went home.

Cat's POV
I had a fun time today Jack and I played laser tag and went bowling and ate at Chipotle. "This was the best day ever thanks Jack." I said. "Your welcome it's been a long time since we've had a brother sister day." he told me. "Yep" I said. "So do you like any of the guys?" He randomly asked.

I'm pretty honest with my brother so I figured I would tell him plus maybe he could help me decide between Taylor and Shawn because I like then both a lot. "I uh like Shawn and Taylor." I told him. He raised an eyebrow at me then spoke. "Well wow." he said. "They're both great guys but you and Taylor would be a really good couple." he told me. "I just don't know Jack." I told him sighing.

*The next day*
I woke up and found a note on the couch it said, Hey sis I am out with Jack we will be out till tomorrow. Call me if you need anything have a good day love you! -Jack

So I made some breakfast and sat down and watched tv. *knock knock* who could that be and what do they want? I looked through the little peep hole and saw Taylor.

Oh great I look like a mess. I haven't brushed my hair, I'm in my pj's, and I don't have makeup on. I can't just not let him in though. I let him in and tried to make my hair look less crazy.

"I'm sorry I didn't know you were coming." I told him. "It's ok you look beautiful as always." he told me making me blush. I ran to my room and put on my "Youtube is life" shirt and shorts and straightened my hair quickly. "Ok I look better now." I told him. "Beautiful as always." he said. I blushed again and we watched tv.

We sat in the couch and cuddled. "So where's your brother." He asked. "Oh he and Jack went out they won't be back until tomorrow." I told him. He nodded and focused back on the tv. We were watching some new show it was hilarious. "You should make us popcorn." he told me.

"Ok" I said going to the kitchen. I made the popcorn and sat back down. "Thank you." he said. "Your welcome." I said.

"Hey can I show you something?" I asked him. "Sure" he said following me. I was taking him to my favorite hiding place. "I like to go up here to think or hide when I'm fighting with Jack." I told him. Its underneath the basement kind of like another basement but tinier. "I found this one day while I was bored." I told him. "Wow it's cool." I took him in through the mini door to go outside we sat in the grass and just looked up at the stars.

I started to shiver because it was cold. He gave me his sweatshirt to put on. It's a lot bigger on me but I love it. We were just staring at each other until before I knew it we were kissing it was amazing. We pulled away and then it got kind of awkward. We headed back inside and he ended up spending the night I fell asleep in his arms. I felt so safe.
