Chapter 8: The gender is..

I walked into the house to see my sister and nephew. I stood there as tears filled my eyes. I finally walked forward and hugged them both. Then I picked up my nephew. I finally let a tear slip when I kissed his cheek.

"Hey baby boy." I said letting another tear slip.

"Hi KK." He said giggling.

"Hey Amber." I said hugging her again.

"Hey sis."

We all bonded and cried and hugged. Sadly they had to leave to go see my brother Brian.

"Thank you Andrew." I said crying and hugging him.

"You're welcome. I know you miss them."

"Yeah. But I'm tired. Let's go to bed."

"Okay. Night babe, love you." He said kissing me.

"Night. Love you too."

~1 month later~

I walked into the drs office and signed in. A few minutes after I sat down I heard my name. I got up and walked to the room. I layer down and let the doctor do her thing.

"Would you like to know the gender?"

"Please?"

"Okay. The gender of your baby is a healthy little boy. Congratulations!"

"Can I get 12 pictures? I have a big family."

"Sure. Just a second." She left then a few minutes after she came back with the pictures.

"Thank you." I said before getting up and leaving.
