Sorry for not writing anything for a while. I was going to get this chapter done yesterday but in my defence I spent around 7 hours finishing homework yesterday and I had NO energy to do anything after. ANYWAYS, hope you guys enjoy.

Also for this chapter y/n is 10 years old and in all other chapters he is 24

OH and this story takes place around 1650-1730. So basically whenever there is a ship involved it isnt a modern ship. Its made of wood and has sails instead of an engine. Well other than iron clads.  Alright ima shut up now.

Authors pov:

A little boy was getting on a cruise ship with his parents at night. It was dark but the boy noticed a parrot perched at the top of the ship's mast. But it didn't look like a parrot. It had black feathers  and a yellow-ish white beak and eyes. It looked an awful lot like a ghost on this moonless night. Suddenly, the parrot turned and looked directly into the eyes of the boy.He tripped and fell. His parents looked at him worriedly and asked him if he was alright. The boy looked back up to where the parrot was but it was gone.

???: yeah I'm fine.

Mother: Are you sure?

???: Yes.

Father: Alright. Just watch your step kiddo. *he smiled*

The family went to their cabin. It was the size of a large room. There was also a small bathroom. The main room had a desk with ink and feather and a spot to place a book or piece of paper without it falling off when the ship was moving. There were 3 hammocks as well as a small porthole right next to the smallest hammock that was probably meant to be the boy's hammock.

Time skip brought to you by @Pure_Vengeance and his crew running around a port drunk and screaming "WE NEED MORE MEAD! GIVE US THE MEAD!!!"

On the second night aboard the ship, the boys parents were asleep but the boy was still awake. He heard a thump sound as if the ship got caught on something. He looked through the porthole and saw an island not too far away. Suddenly, their cabin split in half, the boy on one side and his parents on the other. His parents were now wide awake, screaming. The father knew the ship wouldn't survive and it would sink soon. He took a necklace with a green gem out of his pocket as well as a small bag and gave it to the boy.

Father: y/n, listen very closely. Take this necklace. Don't show it to anyone and don't lose it. But most importantly, remember who you are. Promise me.

Y/n: Dad... *small tears rolled down his cheeks*

*CRACK* the cabin was breaking

Father: PROMISE ME!

Y/n: I PROMISE!

Father: Remember, we love yo-

The ship split in two halves and y/n's father and mother were lost to the ocean, never to resurface again.

Y/n: MOM! DAD! NOOOOOOO! *he began to cry*

Unfortunately, he didn't have much time to grieve as the half of the ship he was started sinking as well. The boy hit his head on something and passed out.

When he woke up he was on the beach of the island he saw earlier. He recognized it because of the 4 mountains that were all grouped together. It almost looked like they were protecting something.

???: OI! WE GOT A SURVIVOR OVER HERE!

The boy looked in the direction of the voice and saw a pirate looking at him.

Pirate: He's bleeding! Get the doctor over here!

The last thing you saw as you blacked out were 3 pirates running over to you, one of them carrying a leather suitcase with a red + that looked roughly painted on.

What will happen to y/n? Will the pirates kill him? Will he be able to get over the sudden loss of his parents? Or will the island lay waste to him? Find out in the next chapter of: Island of the Lost.

Hope you guys enjoyed. I will try to get chapter 1 published soon and the bio even sooner. The bio will probably be only for y/n and i will do a short bio for every important character when y/n meets them. Have a great day and hope you guys enjoyed!
