The Moment We Met

I ran far into the woods and sat on a giant rock. My whole world just fell apart in one second, i have no one. My whole life has been a lie. I suddenly see Matt walking towards me, how did he know where i was. Whatever, it doesn't matter. He stops in front of me and i just stare at him. He sits down next to me and pulls me into a hug. I hug him back and tears start to roll down my cheeks as he rubs my back comfortingly.

Its weird to realize, he's my older brother. "What are we gonna do about this?" I say while pulling away and wiping my tears. "Confront my parents.. well our parents." He says. "Your parents aren't mine, my parents might raised me crappy but they're still my parents." He nods. "Your mom lied to me, i already found it weird how she was so close with me the first second she saw me." I say. "Yeah she wasn't this close with.. uhm his first girlfriend." He says. "Violet?" He nods. "So she wasn't your girlfriend?" I say teasingly. He shoots a annoyed glare at me as i chuckle.

It began to rain so we started running home. I laugh as we run. I haven't felt this free in a while. When we get home we're soaking wet. We walk inside and look at each other before laughing. "Im gonna take a shower." I say "im gonna shower first." He says. We glare at each other before rushing upstairs. I get in the bathroom first and quickly lock the door. I hear him chuckle on the other side of the door.

I hear Matt walking downstairs again. He walks into the living room. "Is she okay?" I ask. "I got her mind off of it." He says. I nod. 15 minutes later Ale walks into the room and Matt goes upstairs to shower. She sits down. "We have to talk about this." She says. "I don't want to talk about it." I say as i stand up wanting to walk away, but she also stands up and gets in my way.

"Nio, we didn't know." She says. "That doesn't make it less fucked up." I tell her and push her aside so i could finally walk off. "We're going to your parents, i don't care what you think. Your coming." She snaps before dropping herself on the couch. "Im not." I say. She glares at me "yes you are, if your gonna be an asshole i'll make you." She says. "Good luck with that." I say as i turn around and want to walk away but i bump into Matt. "Lets go." He says holding up the car keys. Ale grabs them and walks outside.

"Man up." He tells me before following her. Yeah, im not going. I walk upstairs and lay down on my bed. It hasn't even been 5 minutes when i hear the door open and Ale comes in. "What is your deal!?" She yells. I just stare at her. "I did nothing! Nothing and you treat me like this! I didn't know, neither did you. So man up and move on! Now get in that car." She says. "Im not going!" I yell. Her face turns even angrier "im asking such a little thing of you and you still won't do it! You better get your ass in that car or i'll make sure you'll never see me again!" She yells back.

I stand up walking towards her. "im wondering, what goes on in that head of yours that makes you think that i would do anything just because its you asking!" I corner her up against a wall. She looks me in the eyes "so what is it gonna be?" She asks emotionless. "Im. Not. Going." I say slowly. She looks at me with disbelief in her eyes before her expression goes numb. In a second i feel a sharp sting in my stomach, i look down and see she stabbed me. I fall on my knees. "Dick." She says before walking out.

I rush downstairs and sit in the car again. Why is he being such a dick to me. "So im guessing he's not coming?" Matt says. "Nope, and I may have stabbed him." I say as i start the car. Matt is the only one who's actually here for me. So if Nio dares to whine about how close i am with him, its all on him. If he was there for me i wouldn't got so close with him. I stare at the road just thinking. "Are you gonna drive?" He asks. I groan in annoyance. "I can't leave him like this, he doesn't even know what a bandage is." I say getting out of the car again.

I care to much, i can't even leave him like that. I hate myself. I walk inside again and see him in the kitchen struggling. I sigh before walking towards him. I grab a towel and pull the knife out before putting the towel on there pushing on the wound. "I can take care of myself." He says. "Can you?" I snap. I help him and after that i leave again.

I drive to his parents with Matt still in the passenger seat. We arrive and walk inside. We walk to the living room and see his mom. "Hey guys, what are you doing here?" She says. "This is Matt not Arsenio." I say, just so she knows. "We know im adopted." I say, its better to throw it out immediately. She looks confused at us. "Well i-." His dad cuts her off when he walks in. "Thats right, we gave you up. Get over it." He says. I turn around to face him. Im not scared of him, he's a prick nothing more.

"Get over myself? My whole life has been a lie." I tell him. "We didn't want you, don't make a big deal out of it." He simply says. I turn around to face his mom again. "Is that true?" I ask, scared for the answer. "Come on darling, don't lie to the girl." He says. She looks scared? "Yes." She says emotionless. I just stare at her in disbelief. My heart just got ripped apart in a million pieces. "Alright." I say trying not to let my voice break.

"Wheres Arsenio?" His mom asks. "He's being just like his dad." I say and walk off. She knows exactly what i mean with it, and i know she doesn't want it to happen. Well fuck her, fuck everyone. Matt runs after me. I throw the keys at him and get in the passengers seat. Im pissed and sad at the same time. "Are you okay?" He says as he drives off. "Better than ever." I say looking out of the window.

We arrive back home and we walk inside. "Ale, your right. We should talk about it." Nio says. "I don't want to talk about it." I say rushing upstairs.
