We got into the car and i started driving. "Are you okay?" Nio asks. Im burying my emotions deep down, its been a while since i did that. But if i don't i would freak out, i need to find Ameer first and after ill let my emotions be. "Ale?" "What?" "Are you okay?" "Im better than ever." I say sarcastically.
We arrive and we rush inside. "We're here!" I say while walking into the living room. "You took him here!?" My dad says as he walks towards him. I get in between them. "Dad, its not him. He has a brother. A twin brother."
"Your family has gone too far." Raf says now coming at him too. "Raf don't" i keep Arsenio behind me. "Are you such a fool that your falling for him!" He says. I glare at him "im not, he can help. So if your tempered ass can fucking sit down on that couch, right now! That would be great."
He turns around and sits back down, so does my dad. "What happend to you." My mom asks Arsenio. Every idiot could see he was hurt. "His brother did that, we came from the hospital." I tell her quickly. "He could be faking it so we don't suspect him." My dad says. "What is this, a movie?! He did that for me, i was there. Now fuck off." I snap.
"What is the plan." I say. "Well first we need to find out where he is." Raf says. "I know a guy, i'll call him." Nio says as he walks off. "Do you really trust him?" My dad asks. "Dad please, trust me on this one." He just nods. I just did that, he fucking listened to me. It feels good to be in lead.
Nio comes back into the room with a location. "Thats fast." I say amazed. "You guys should go, me and your mom will stay here incase something happens." My dad says. "Lets go." I say and walk outside, Arsenio and Raf following me. We get in the car and drive off.
We arrive at this crappy old house. We walk towards it and walk in. We look trough the house and finally find the room their in. "Get the fuck away from him." I say wanting to walk over but Raf holds me back. "The dream team is here." Matteo says sarcastically.
"You know i was rudely interrupted back in the hospital. So i had to think of another way to lore you out." He says. "Bad move, now get away from him." I say while aiming a gun at him. He holds a knife at Ameer's neck. "Put all your weapons down and you can come get him." He tells me. I slowly put my gun and knife on the ground not breaking eye contact with him.
"Come on." He says. I walk towards them and pull Ameer away from him. He's shaking, i hug him trying to calm him down. Matteo suddenly aims his gun at me. I hold Ameer behind me. "Go outside Ameer." I say. He goes outside. "You should've trained him." Matteo says. "I don't want him involved in this crap yet." I tell him.
He aims his gun at Raf and Arsenio and then back at me. "So where were we?" He says. "Yeah we're not going there." Arsenio says as he walks towards his brother. Raf walks towards me. Not wasting a minute Matteo pulls the trigger. I see the bullet coming at me. This is it im gonna die. Im ready to take the bullet when Raf jumps infront of me, the bullet goes straight through his heart. "NO!" I scream and fall down on the ground next to him.
"Ale.." he says weakly. "No, shhh. Its gonna be okay." Tears start floating out of my eyes. "Its okay..." he says. "Take good care of everyone." He whispers. "No, no, no! Don't close your eyes. Do you hear me, Don't close your fucking eyes!" I say holding onto him. "I love you." His eyes close and his heartbeat stops.
"No, Raf don't leave me. Don't leave me please." I cry while hugging his now dead and cold body. I look at where Matteo was standing. "Where is he!" I say while standing up. "He got away." Nio tells me. "Im gonna kill him even if its the last thing ill do." I grab my gun and knife and want to walk out when Arsenio pulls me back. "We'll take care of him later, we need to take care of your brother right now."
"I can't, i need to do something to keep me distracted." I say and turn around but he pulls me back again. "Let it sink in Ale, he's dead. Don't walk away from it because it will only get harder that way." I look ar Raf's body laying on the ground. "I cant lose him." I say. "Why did he do that." tears start coming out of my eyes uncontrollably again. "Why didn't he just let me die! I can't life without him." I look Nio in the eyes. He pulls me into a hug as i bury my face in his chest. "I can't do this anymore!" I say desperately. I fall to the ground and he goes with me holding me tight.
15 minutes later and the worst of my crying is over. "We should get to your family." He says. "No, just stay in here i need to tell Ameer first before he sees the body." I tell him. He nods and i walk outside. "Ameer?" "Im here." He says as he walks towards me. He might be 17 but for me he's just a kid. "I have to tell you something." "What?" "Well, after you went outside.. Matteo, he pulled the trigger, the bullet was meant for me but Raf jumped infront of me and he got hit." I tell him trying to stay strong. "Well is he okay?" He asks. "No not really. He got shot in his heart... he's dead Ameer." He looks at me with disbelief. I stare at him tears rolling down me cheeks once again. "Please say something." I say, i feel so guilty. "I'll be in the car." He says and walks off.
Arsenio comes out with the body in his hands. "Lets go to the car, i don't want to look at it." I say and we walk to the car. I drive off. "How are you gonna tell mom and dad?" Ameer asks me. "Im gonna tell them and then you might lose another sibling." I say. He sighs and looks out of the window. "You know, its okay to be sad." I say. Arsenio smirks at me knowing i just copied his words.
Flashback I feel my head get red from the amount of anger inside of me. I get into my car and drive to the park. I arrive and walk to my spot. I stand infront of a tree and start punching and kicking it. My knuckles slowly turn red as im still hitting the tree. "Ale? Ale stop your hurting yourself." I hear Arsenio say. Why is he fucking everywhere. He turns me around. "Get the fuck away from me!" I scream and hit him in his chest a few times. He pulls me closer and hugs me. "Get away from me." I say angrily while i try to get out of his grip. But he just holds me even tighter.
"Get away from me, please." I say as my voice starts breaking and tears start to run down my face. I stop struggling as i cry in his arms. "Let it all out, its okay to be sad." He whispers.
Back to present.
Ameer just ignores me. When your raised by my dad he at least screamed 'Don't show your fucking feelings because you'll be weak.' Once in your life. I just never show him. Driving home i thought about a lot of things. And im about to make the hardest decision i've ever made. We arrive home "you go inside i'll be there in a few." I tell Ameer. He walks inside. "We need to talk." I tell Nio. "Whats up?" He asks confused. "I think that we shouldn't see each other anymore." I say. "No, don't do this. Don't shut me out just because this happend." He said.
"Its not only this, its all the crap we've been trough because we're together. I've been so fucking selfish staying with you, and look where it got me. If we weren't together, this wouldn't of happend. I can't be selfish anymore, because every second i see you my whole family is in danger. And whatever i feel for you, isn't worth the risk of another person dying." I say. He looks at me with pain in his eyes. "You really want to do that?" He asks. I nod a few tears rolling down my cheeks. He hugs me tight and i hug him back. "Well this is a goodbye i guess." He says with hurt in his voice. I kiss him before pulling away.
"Goodbye." I say and turn around walking inside. I close the door not looking behind me, it'll only make it harder. I slide down against the door and cry in silence.
