Chapter 68

Time skip a couple days

Anna's POV
"Katelyn Gray found in the Mercy Hospital in Los Angeles. Suspected in a coma after the car crash in the ditch of New York City." The guy said in my phone.

"Jesus Christ..." I mumbled at the thought of this.

"Anna?" I heard looking up.

"Here. It's Chick-fil-A." Eva said.

"Good news! Katelyn here... will be waking up... in about 4-5 days. It's certain she will wake up." He said and my world lit up right there.

"That's good news Doc." Lola said.

I let out a breath of relief that I didn't even know I had. Looking over at Katelyn I wonder if she can hear me.

"If you can hear me... pick subway for the first time you eat." I whispered.

I smiled before pulling away.

Time skip bc I'm getting impatient 🤠

"Well good news she should be waking up today or tomorrow." The doctor said checking her IV.

"Boon you need to go home and get another shower." I heard Lola say.

"I don't know..." I mumbled leaning back.

"Take a shower. Get some rest and then comeback." Madison said.

I started to get up. Lola was right I need to get another shower. I walked out to my car driving back to the house.

I opened the door to a fresh new smell. The house hasn't been used in days.

I made my way to the showers showering myself off.

After putting on Katelyn's comfy clothes I curled up in the bed and cuddle into my bear Jerry that Katelyn got for me.

It smelled so much like her. And so did her side of the bed. Her sweatshirt still smelled like her and it was amazing.

A few minutes after thinking about Katelyn I fell asleep.

Lola's pov
"Hey Lola..." I heard after almost falling asleep.

"I think you should go home too..." I heard seeing Jaci.

She slightly lifted my chin and smiled.

"Madison why don't you take her home and let her sleep comfortably." She said walking away.

"B-But no. What if she-" I was extremely tired and I tried to fight back when she cut me off.

"Lola... I'll be here. You can come right back after a couple of hours. You look... like shit." She said has Madison let out a laugh.

"Shut up Madison." I said tiredly slapping her.

"Oh... yeah you need sleep." She said helping me up and holding my waist.

"Jesus you've never been this tired since highschool finals." Madison said.

"Shut up." I said laughing.

Reaching the car I leaned back and closed my eyes nearly falling asleep.

"Don't fall asleep. I'm not carrying you in. The last time you hit your head and you had a mental breakdown." She said laughing.

"Stop laughing at me!" I whined as she laughed a little more.

I stared out the window zoning out after.

"Hey let's go." Madison said opening my door.

I got out as she held my waist making sure I don't fall.

"Cmon girl... Your a soccer player. Be a little faster." She said and I elbowed her making her wince.

"I hate you." She mumbled.

"Yeah yeah... you love me." I said turning around.

I jumped and wrapped my legs around her waist making her grab on the car.

"Carry me." I mumbled resting my head on her shoulder.

"Jesus Christ give me a warning next time." She said shutting the car door.

"If you hit your head don't cry please." She said and I laughed.

We made it to the bed as she laid me down making me curl up.

"Ima go check on Anna, and grab a shower. Maybe pick up some food on the way." She said covering me up.

"But baby you need sleep too." I mumbled.

"Yeah I'll sleep a little after my shower." She said leaving.

Madison's pov
Checking in Anna and Katelyn's room I saw Anna asleep.

I grabbed myself a shower before checking on Lola who as fast and deeply asleep.

I brushed the hair out of her face before I slipped under the covers.

I wrapped my arms around Lola as she snuggled more under my neck putting her head in the crook of my neck and I can feel her light breaths going down my neck.

"Goodnight..." I whispered.

Anna's POV
I woke up going into the bathroom.

"Cmon Katelyn... make the time go by faster." I whined.

I was about to walk outside when I saw Madison's car.

I went into Lola and Madison's seeing them both asleep.

"Might as well just grab food for everyone..." I mumbled getting my keys and getting into my car.

I was looking at restaurants to find when I decided to do plain pizza.

Grabbing a box for Lola and Madison since they both eat like hungry wolves. I also got a box for Jaci and Logan.

I went back to the house to see Madison awake on the couch.

"Oh hey you got food. I was gonna get it." She said helping me.

"Yeah. I got food for Jaci and Logan too. So ima head on over to the hospital now." I said and she nodded.

"Me and Lola will be there in a couple hours." She said.

"Make that minutes." Lola said grabbing a pizza and shoving it in her mouth as I laughed.

"Also I was also wondering... she needs a new car right?" I asked them and they both looked at me and nodded.

"You know her dream car is a McLaren." Lola said.

"She also wants a dog." I said.

"Why don't you get the car... I'll help pay for it... and I get the dog." I said and the shrugged and nodded.

"Great." I said picking the pizza up and going out the doors.

"Hey guys. I got you guys some pizza." I mumbled.

They both grabbed the pizza shoving it in their mouths.

I forgot that we have been eating the hospital food here and they probably didn't like it.

It was probably 2 am in the morning as I was getting sleep.

Sudden shake of the bed I woke up to the monitor beeping rapidly.
