Court Date for Mack's trial: January 22nd
I don't know how courts work. I tried researching to the best of my ability and this is how it came out.
Katelyn's Pov
"You gonna be okay?" Anna asked me and I nodded.
"Yeah." I said and she smiled giving me a hug.
"Your gonna do great." She whispered.
We entered the courthouse has my anxiety fell off the charts already.
"In a wrong term. He is corrected for attempt of first degree murder. With no hesitation for lawful acting of murder in the first degree." My prosecutor said.
"What type of evidence do we have?" The judge asked.
"Can I call someone up to the stands?" He asked.
The judge nodded at his question.
"Dr. Isles, a witness to the stand." She said.
"Do you swear to tell the truth? And the truth only?" The judge asked him and he said yes.
"May I question what happened when you came in the room?" My prosecutor said.
"I saw someone put an extra does of Saline into the IV bag." He said truthfully.
"And it was not Mr. Gray?" The defendant spoke up.
"No I can confirm it was not Mr. Gray." He said.
"That's all your honor." The defendant rest.
"Your honor. Mr. Gray looks to have paid the man to insert an extra dose into the IV bag." Prosecutor stood up.
"You have no evidence." The defendant yelled.
I saw the juries on the side speaking to each other.
"In no way honor we do not know the truth through this situation. Therefore we don't know that Mr. Gray here paid the man to kill her." The defendant spoke.
"And what do the juries have to say?" The judge asked.
One of the juries handed a board up.
"Juries have spoken not guilty." The judge said.
"Is there any other evidence for why Mr. Gray is guilty?" The judge asked before getting his mallet.
I spoke to the prosecutor.
"We have witness to come to the stands!" The prosecutor said.
Anna's POV
Katelyn went to the witness stand and I was confused.
"Mrs. Gray what evidence do you have?" The prosecutor said.
"Attempted murder of first degree... Anna Shumate." She said and my eyes widen.
"Sexual Assault on Marget Gray." She said.
"Physical Assault... and Drunk driving multiple times. Unpaid tickets and both taxes." She said
She was really exposing him.
"And how'd you know attempted murder on Ms. Shumate?" The defendant spoke up.
"Can I call another witness to the board?" The prosecutor said as Katelyn stepped down.
"Nurse Laine to the stand." The prosecutor said.
