Chapter Sixteen

Shirabu POV

I looked outside the window of the ice cream shop. "Woahh, the ice cream here is delicious!" Megumi said like a child. Megami giggled from her behavior and continued eating her Vanilla ice cream.

"Hey, it's odd seeing you here," A disembodied unfamiliar voice said. We all turned our heads to look at who said that. I froze as I saw the man. "What are you doing here.. Better yet, why are you here?!" I said, getting up from my seat. I'm pretty sure I gained the attention on many others, but at this point, I didn't care. "Aren't you happy to see me? How's your little job going doctor? As if you'd get in," He laughed his ass off. "Actually, I did, I just need to finish college, how about you with your wannabe singer huh? Your voice sounds like a dying rat. And maybe you would have became one if you didn't look like girls were drooling all over your pants, if it actually was girls drooling all over your pants," I said back. He looked at me with embarrassment as he hid his face and ran into the back. "What I thought..." I muttered as I sat back down. "Who was that?" Megami asked. "A bully from middle school.. I remember that one time I punched him and gave him a black eye," I said. "That's my brother," Kenji said as he took a bite out of his popsicle. "What the fuck Kenji." I watched as Megami stared at Kenji with disgust. Megumi chuckled as I giggled.

"What?" Kenji chuckled as he swallowed his ice cream. "I- Let's not get into that, ahem, anyways!" Megami said. "I'm still traumatized by uhh.. Yeah.." Megami began to trail of. Kenji comforted her as me and Megumi look down at the table.

"How about we go home?" Megumi said awkwardly. The three of us nodded and walked out the ice cream shop.

After a few minutes of walking, Megumi somehow managed to change the topic.

"A Lily!" She pointed at something. A flower in a little flower pot outside a flower shop.

"Ah, hello there!" A gentle female voice said. We looked up to see a familiar lady. "Ah! It's nice to see you again Kenjiro-Kun and Megami-Kun!" The women said. "Hello!" We both bowed for a sign of reapect. "No need to be so formal! I just saw you guys outside my shop and I was wondering if you'd like to buy anything!" Semi's mother said. We both looked at Megumi as she looked at us. "Uhmm," Megumi started, turning her head to Semi's mother. "May we have a look around first?" "Of course! Tell me if you need anything!" Semi's mother said as she smiled. "Okay, thank you miss!" Megumi smiled back. "No problem!"

After a few minutes of staring at a few flowers from the same aisle from the same row, Kenji went to go to buy something from another shop.

"Woah! Look at that one!" Megumi looked at a specific flower. Me and Megami turned our heads to look at the flower. The color of the flower was white.

We watched as Megumi tried her best to get the flower pot, but failed.

"It's on a really high shelf," Megami said. I tried to grab it too, but I was two inches off. "Damn it.." I mumbled.

"Do you want to buy that flower?" Megami asked. "It's my favorite flower," Megumi said.

I then heard a slight chuckling sound. I looked around and saw somebody familiar...

Nobody POV

Semi and Kyoka watched as the three Shirabus' were struggling to get a flower off a high shelf. He then noticed that Shirabu had noticed them. Shirabu glared at them with a mean look and tapped Megami and Megumi's shoulder. He whispered something to them and they both shot their heads and stared at the Semi siblings and they stared back in awkwardness. "Pffft-" Kyoka laughed. "Shut up," Semi said, covering Kyoka's mouth. 

"Uhh, hi?" Shirabu said with confusion. Kyoka just waved as he tried removing Semi's hand from her mouth. "Hi," Semi said as he gave Kyoka an irritated look. "What?" Kyoka managed to get something out of her mouth as she continued to chuckle. "You really enjoy peoples suffering don't you?" Semi sighed. "Yup," Kyoka giggled. "It isn't funny! Plus, why are the selves at your store so high?! We could've gotten hurt!" Megumi pouted. "Did you not read the warning at the desk at the front written in big red letters? It said that if you couldn't get it off a shelf get an employee to help you," Semi said. Megumi and Megami stood there, tilting their heads with a confused look on their faces. "Whaaaa? There was a warning?" Megumi asked confused. Semi facepalmed and sighed as Kyoka laughed even more. Shirabu rolled his eyes and sighed. "Can you just help us?" "Yeah yeah, hold on," Semi said as he walked off somewhere.
