(d/n) decided to make a permanent home at Slakya. The 2 kept seeing each other for almost 2 years before they finally gotten married. The king even attended the wedding and gave a gift. The 2 had wonderful times together for a few years. They both worshiped the same god. That is Thidur god of mercy, justice, forgiveness, charity, luck, dawn, and hope. One day (m/n) noticed she was pregnant. She was happy she was going to be a mother.
(m/n): (d/n)
(d/n): yes honey
(m/n): we're having a baby
He stood silent for a few seconds before suddenly cheering
(d/n): I'M GONNA BE A DAD!!!
For a elf, pregnancy took a year. She gave birth to a healthy half elf boy. Before Marina didn't like (d/n) so much but after her nephew being born, she wasn't like that anymore and happy that she will be a aunt.
(m/n): what should we name him?
(d/n): how about name him after your grandfather
(m/n): no how about yours

They thought for a little while.

Time skip: 8 years
After the birth of (y/n), the king also congratulated the couple and Rose even saw (y/n) in his crib once. Part of the time (m/n) would watch (y/n) while his dad was traveling and him watching (y/n) when (m/n) was hunting. If both couldn't then Marine will. (y/n) was growing into a good, strong, and smart boy. He saw knights and guards training one day. He grew an interest in it. He then started his own training like lifting as heavy as he can, exercising, reading, and use his wooden sword to learn how to fight. His parents eventually took notice of this. (y/n) was using his sword on a fake dummy he made and trying to learn new techniques.

(y/n): training
(m/n): for what
(y/n): I want to become a knight
(m/n): why?
(y/n) stopped and looked at his parents.
(y/n): I saw knight and guards training before multiple times. I love how they fought and used swords. I feel like I want to be a great knight someday and help good people. I also want to learn more and be a hero to the kingdom. I told Marina and she like the idea.
(m/n): how long have you been doing this?
(y/n): a few months
(y/n)'s parent talked to each other for a bit before.
(d/n): we support you and we want to help you do great things

(m/n): but we would like to teach you things we learned. So you know how to be smart with more than just fighting.
(y/n): deal and I already been reading books to get smarter
(y/n) learned how to heal from his mom and learned more about the market from his dad. He also learned how to use a bit of other weapons from his aunt sometimes. He felt loved and that he could do anything. This is how a child would become a knight soon.
