Chapter 9 Slaves to Allies

I went to the mines that had the biggest number of slaves they had. Maybe just maybe from freeing them they would help me. I need some help if I can do this. Would they join me if I was a vampire. I can't just say I'm (y/n). I need to keep my identity a secret or my family could be punished or killed. I need to be known by something else. I thought of it. Then the name Venus called me sound perfect. The Vampiric Knight. I made it to the mines. Was big and had many of so many slaves. There is going to be a lot of soldiers but they never faced something like me.

(y/n): those poor souls need to be free

I came down at the mines. There stood a group of guard in front of me.

Guard: turn back or else

I stayed silent and pulled my sword out. I looked them with my eyes. I saw fear in there faces. They attacked but in seconds I slashed them all up. I need to keep moving.

(y/n): time for a big break out

Slave pov:

A group of us were now stuck in a cell. We did a bad job at a certain job and are going to be in here for the night. One guard came over and laughed.

Guard: you are just a bunch of dogs hahaha

Slave: we are not dogs and someday we will be free

Guard: and who will save you?

Slave: don't know but whoever does, we would be grateful for what they did and help if we can

Guard: that person will never...

All of sudden we heard a another guard scream. The guard that was mocking us went to it. Some of us came closer to the bars. Then we heard the sound of snapping. We back from the bars when we saw the guard who mocked us falls on the floor. His neck was snapped. We heard foot steps and armor coming. We saw someone new in front of the bars. Had red eyes and darker armor than we seen. He spoke.

???: you want your freedom?

He looked scary but we all wanted to be free. We all still said yes. He grabbed onto the bar gate and literally threw it aside with incredible strength.

???: it's your then. Go get out of here, I already took out the guards above but if you want to help the others then go for it.

We all ran out for it. Only a few of us went up and the rest of us followed this dark knight to the others.

No one pov:

(y/n) and the freed slaves were freeing the others. (y/n) was easily beating each of the soldiers who were in his way. The slaves were freeing the others then helped (y/n) by fighting back or using rocks to knock them out. In just less than a hour all the slaves were free and the soldiers were killed or prisoned in the cells. Everyone came to surround (y/n) when he was on a big rock.

(y/n) pov:

This is my chance to convince them to help me.

(y/n): friends hear me out. You all have been wrong by Vovaria. I am here and doing this not to help them but to defeat them. They have ruined the lives of people and endless conquest for too long. I maybe a vampire but I'm not like the others. Unlike them I have my humanity.

Slave: why should we trust you?

(y/n): Why would I have freed you when I could have just killed each of you slowly?

They chatted amongst themselves for a bit.

(y/n): my home Slakya has been taken over by them. And now the people there might be very well be having the same thing happening to them as to you.

The crowed was shocked and talked to themselves once again.

(y/n): I can stop the corrupted kingdom for good but I can't do it alone. I won't ask for you to die or fight since you just had your freedom, but I would ask you what would you do for your families, friends, and everything you cared about.

Everyone was silent and looked a bit sad.

(y/n): Now you can either go try to live or you can fight with me and save the lives of many and have freedom to all for this land and EVERYONE WE KNOW. DO WE WANT DEACON TO RULE.

Slaves: NO

(y/n): WILL WE BE TREATED AS SLAVES

Slaves: NO

(y/n): WILL YOU FIGHT WITH MORE FOR GOOD AND FOR FREEDOM

Slaves: YES

(y/n): I AM THE VAMPIRIC KNIGHT AND LETS GET OUR HOMES BACK

The people cheered for me. I got a lot of support to help me now. Hopefully it would stay that way until the end.
