Two : Rowena's Request Begins

Third Person's POV

MONDAY

"Find her before the clock strikes midnight on the third Sunday"

Early in the sunny morning, those words already kept on repeating inside Prince Yoshinori's mind and might as well caused a sudden headache to everyone.

He felt like the secured room was spinning around, items scattered everywhere on the rocky floor, though it wasn't. He tried his best to be strong in order not to create any worries among his friends and brothers.

The secret room they were in now located at the basement level, exceedingly safe for humans to shield themselves from a hazard. There was no window installed down here but a large hole, a size of hand, was made enough to let the fresh air in.

Up all night, the royal guards that left surrounded the whole place. Although, they were small group, nothing could stopped them from saving the princes.

Prince Yoshinori leaned his back against the wall, rubbing his forehead continuously. The others had awoke almost an hour after him, sitting on their butts and seemed not in the mood to talk as they were too bewildered over what happened last night.

"Yoshi Hyung, you seem distress. What's on your mind?" His little brother, Prince Haruto came towards him and asked in very concern way, putting his hand on the older's shoulder. Prince Yoshinori snapped out of his thoughts and looked up at him.

"We've been living in a peaceful world for 30 years. How did we get ourselves in such an unpleasant mess?" He sighed. He knew 30 years wasn't considered long to declare a war finally over and to think back, it was possible for it to occur in the future.

They felt a bit furious because of having no time to prepare both physically and mentally. Then, out of sudden the witch broke into the castle without everyone's consciousness including their parents. What an unfortunate.

"I thought about that too. I can't believe our parents would hide a secret from us until they willing to sacrifice themselves" Prince Haruto commented, crossing his arms up to his chest.

"Maybe there's a reason why. Don't blame the Kings and Queens" They averted their eyes to the owner of the voice. Prince Mashiho who was leaning his head on Prince Junkyu's side arm remarked over his brother words.

He did have a point. But honestly, no one blamed The Kings and Queens. It was just unfair for them to know nothing and guilt for not doing something to save The Crowns from that mysterious witch.

"I'm not blaming them. it's too...complicated" The younger replied as he dropped down to a full squat position, hugging his legs with full of sorrow. Silence filled the atmosphere again.

"Mother told us not to lose our family heirloom. Is it that important?" As Prince Doyoung finished the query, they all gazed at the mentioned thing in quick motion and touched the necklaces which hung on their necks delicately.
