Announcement (Don't Miss!)

Hey everyone! First, I'm so sorry again for the delay with the newest chapter of Falling Into Place. Not only have I had some family in town to visit, but I've been in such a groove writing Heartstrings for you guys! The chapters have been flowing out of me. 

I will make an effort to have a new chapter of Falling Into Place published every other day. 

Now for some exciting news! 

If all goes according to plan, Heartstrings will be officially starting after Falling Into Place ends! If you haven't read them already, the first two chapters of Heartstrings are posted for you guys.

And because you guys are so awesome, here is a little snippet from the upcoming chapter 3 of Heartstrings!

P.S. Jamie and Ollie's story will also be coming out after Falling Into Place. Since Heartstrings will be a LONG book, they will most likely be out simultaneously. Which is one reason Im writing chapters in advance. So I can post regularly!

Chapter 3 — Unofficial Pillow Fights

I snatched the college pamphlets out of my bag and stalked over to the small table beside my bed. I yanked the drawer open, stuffed the brochures inside, and slammed it shut.

"Damn, girl. Take it easy."

I spun around. Nathan was standing in my doorway. "What are you doing here, Nathan?"

He grimaced before stepping into my room. "Why do you always call me that?"

"Because I know you don't like it."

"Very funny." Typical Nathan, he fell onto my bed and sprawled out. "So looks like we're neighbors on this trip."

I crossed my arms over my chest. I really didn't need this right now. "Yes, it seems so."

He turned on his side, resting his head on his hand. "What's wrong, Karma? You're being...you know."

"What's 'you know'?"

He winked at me and smiled. "You know...that special time of the month when you girls go batshit crazy."

I grabbed a pillow and hit him with it. "Nathan! I can't believe you asked me that!"

He grabbed the pillow from me when I tried to hit him again, flashing me a cocky grin. "You know, Karma, if you wanted to have a pillow fight, all you had to do was ask."

I took the pillow back and threw it on the bed. "In your dreams, Nathan. Now please leave before I sick your sister on you."

"Psh. I'm not scared of—"

"Lanie!"

"Okay, okay. Jeez. Can't even have a little fun."

Nathan got up from my bed and headed for the door. I watched as he left, not trusting him to not try something else. He was a needler for sure. When he finally disappeared into the hallway, I went back to unpacking.

"Oh by the way, Karma..."

I turned to see that he popped his head back in the doorway. "What."

"Just in case you need them, there's some tampons under the sink."
