You walked single file across a bridge. You were definitely not a fan of heights. Deok-su's team was returning from the platform at this time, walking back towards were you were just sitting."Oh, man. I was looking forward to killing you guys," 101 said as he passed.
You regretted not killing him when you had the chance.
Your team reached the end of the bridge and walked single-file into the yellow elevator. You walked over to the side and leaned against the grated wall. Sae-Byeok glanced at you.
"Come on. Don't lose your spirit," said 001. "Tug-of-War needs more than just raw strength."
"Well then, what is it about, huh? We just go out and speak to them?" Asked one of the men that had joined the team.
"All you need is a good strategy in Tug-of-War, and combined with good teamwork, you'll be able to win when you are against stronger teams."
The other man that was unfamiliar to you spoke up. "Only one thing can help us now. It's the Lord himself, I know it."
"You can barely stay standing, old man. So shut up and keep all your strength, okay?" Said the man that Sang-woo brought.
"Wait a minute, let's hear what the old man says." Gi-hun silenced the others. He kept proving to you that he was a good person.
"Okay, when I was young, we always played Tug-of-War. It's a game I know well. And back then, I would always win, even if there was a wrestler on the other team, and it seemed the odds were stuck against us. Listen closely, and I'll tell you how my team and I were able to win, even when it seemed impossible."

The elevator came to a stop at the top platform. You followed your team out of it, lining up by the rope that was placed on the ground.
"First off, having a good leader is very important." You repeated the old man's instructions in your head.
You sat on the ground as a worker chained you to the large rope. "The person is at the front and keeps an eye on how the other team is performing. And the rest of the team focuses on the back of their leader's head, and follows their lead."
The group decided that Gi-hun would be the leader. "If the leader seems weak or looks like their spirit is beginning to falter, then the game is already over."
Once everyone was attached to the rope, your whole team stood up. "And then at the end of the rope, you'll need to have someone strong and dependable, like the anchor of a ship." This was none other than Ali Abdul.
"After that, it's all about how you arrange the rest of your team. If one player is on the right side of the rope, then the next one should be on the left, all the way down the rope." You stood on the left side, behind 240.
"Both of your feet should be facing straight forward, and then, hold the rope in your armpits. That way, everyone can put in all of their strength." Everyone moved into this position, whilst tightening their grips on the rope.
The loose rope became taut, as both teams on each side pulled it tight."Finally, and this is absolutely the most important thing. Once the game begins, for the first ten seconds..." The flag was waved and the trigger was pulled.
