Divine Deception

Chapter 1

                                         Where it all began

                                                 Prologue

I can see my past within your eyes, my memories within your voice and yet I couldn't repay what you needed the most. I see myself reflecting on the stories and adventures we have encountered, the story of the twelve zodiac signs. It all began on a very starry night under a bright full red moon, a small shooting star crossed the sky and hit a very tall mountain, making the ground shake like an earthquake. It is said that a little girl that went by Aevus was the one who encountered the fallen shooting star and found the twelve zodiac signs within the shooting star, but in reality she was the one who created the twelve zodiac signs. The zodiac signs were created by one emotion, "loneliness", a girl that felt alone and decided to create friends for her pure enjoyment, but little did she know that that enjoyment would end in hatred.

"It's cold and so black I don't know where or who I am...I feel lost like a little puppy on the street,I feel so weak, weak like a marshmallow on the ground...I'm so hungry I feel my stomach grumbling every minute that goes by...Someone help me".

My name is Hiyori Castelo, I am a 16 year old girl with not such a normal life like everyone else; I am different, and by different I mean am a princess, a princess from the Ophelian kingdom.

To me doing fancy things like having nice posture, always wearing dresses and taking classes to become more like a young lady was never something I enjoyed. I always felt uncomfortable;but I do it to keep my parents from worrying about me and keeping them happy.

At times like these I would rather travel the world and explore new places, get to know people and I wanna be able to help others with anything. As royalty goes, a princess is too busy for that kind of thing, they always say leave it to the commoners to help each other.

On April 14 on a very bright morning I heard the birds chirping, and the calming music playing in the background with the smell of roses coming from outside. A perfect time for my sister Ashley's wedding. She is getting married to Jason, the second prince of the kingdom of Leones.

Our family's always had a great relationship with each other, we often shared food and supplies whenever we needed. This wedding was very special because not only will we become like family, we will grow even closer together as one of the two biggest kingdoms in the country.

There is a rule when you're royalty. At the age of 18 you either have to be in search of a new husband or get married to another royal. Honestly i believe getting married at such a young age is absurd; but those are the rules of every kingdom, they say if you can't find a husband in time that the royal family will chose one for you, But luckily that wasn't the case for my sister; she got to choose who she gets to marry and am happy for her.

I always enjoy weddings, to me I look at it as a new chapter in life, a way to find true happiness whether you start a family or not.

At 3:12pm I start to head to the room where they were doing my sister's hair and makeup; i start to walk down the hall with a small bouquet of flower in my hand, as I turn the corner I sense someone was walking towards me but i didn't see anyone in front of me, i decided to ignored it and continue to walk towards my sisters dressing room but all of a sudden I bumped into someone; I touch my shoulder and looked up to see if I could see anyone, I believed it was strange because there was nobody in the hall but me.

I looked down to the floor and saw a shadow of a person standing behind me but that's not all, I also felt a very bad negative energy from this person. It felt like multiple spiders were climbing up my whole body to the point where I can barely breathe.
