Narrater POV
Tanjiro started to train Zenitsu and Inosuke in total concentration content with the help of Kanao.
In the first week, all Zenitsu did was complain, but he soon got used to it, meaning if he complained Tanjiro would make him do one hundred more push-ups. They stayed at the wisteria family's house for about a month, and in that month those two made a world of improvement.
With Kanao and Tanjiro's help, they mastered total concentration in only nine days. After that they moved on to sword training, they only had one cracked rib each so it didn't prevent them from doing sword training.
By the end of the month, when the four of them were tasked to go on a mission together, Zenitsu had already mastered the first form of thunder and was working on the second, and Inosuke's sword skills and scenes had improved a lot.
"Guuaaahhhhhahahaha! I'm stronger than all of you now!" Inosuke shouted at the end of his training.
"Shut up you boar! Anyways, Tanjiro, Thanks for helping me, I can now do the first form perfectly while I'm awake. I don't know how to repay you!" Zenitsu said, bowing over and over again comedically.
"No need, as long as you put that training to good use, I don't need any payment, and keep on working on your other forms, in time you will master them!" Tanjiro said with a smile.
'So kind! How is someone so kind!? Now that I think about it, the sounds I hear from Tanjiro are so kind and gentle, it makes me want to cry. But whenever he is facing a demon, those sounds disappear, leaving no emotional sounds, only the sounds of breathing and rapid heartbeat can be heard. And if I listen closely enough, I can bearly hear a storm brewing in his heart...' Zenitsu thought, looking at the red-headed teen talking with his girlfriend.
Just then their two crows and one sparrow landed on their shoulders, "Caw! Caw! It is north! To the north! Northeast! Your next mission is north! Northeast! The four of you are to go to mount Natagumo! Many Mizunotos have disappeared there! That's why we are sending you four Tsuchinoe! Head here now! Caw! Caw!"
"We are heading out, thank you for everything," Tanjiro said, bowing to the old lady in front of him and the others did the same.
"I shall bestow good fortune upon you." The old lady said, taking out a flint and steel and striking it, creating some sparks.
"What are you doing!?" Inosuke shouted, being raised in the wild, he knew that sparks could destroy his home.
"Gyyahhh! Stop that, you idiot! It's ceremonial! We are going on a journey! And lighting sparks is for luck!" Zenitsu shouted, standing in front of the old lady while Tanjiro and Kanao tried to hold him back.
"Always live your lives in a way where you can hold your heads up high. I wish you all luck in battle!" The old lady said before they left.
The four members of the Kamaboko squad could be seen running towards their next destination.
"Heads up high? Luck in battle? What does that mean?" Inosuke asked.
'Gees, this guy's totally clueless...' Zenitsu thought.
"To be honest it is a little hard to explain. To hold your heads up high, I guess that means that whatever hand you're given in this life you're able to conduct yourself in a way that's honorable so you're never ashamed.." Tanjiro said.
"Huh?" Inosuke asked, not understanding a word he just said.
"And luck in battle means she's praying for our safety Inosuke." Kanao finished for Tanjiro.
