Kurapika ended up opening the door for killua after a while. He yelled at him non stop for the entire night after He got back, about how He needed to be more responsible about keeping up with things that are important. Which he wasn't wrong, but It's not like Killua was 5. This was just a simple mistake.Killua was up all night figuring out how much money was left on his mom's credit card to afford the damages that were done to the house and how much it would cost for construction people to come and fix it up. He ended up falling asleep and not finishing the rest, but he knew he could finish it later when he met Gon and his workers at the house.
Gon was really a hard worker and Killua's glad he hired him, not to mention he's respectful and kinda fine. Not kinda...he is fine. But why would he even think about his handyman being fine? Geez that was Weird...
Killua's POV
"Sorry kurapika! I won't be able to have breakfast this morning, I have to meet up with My handyman man today." I shout while quickly waving goodbye to kurapika and running out of the apartment, I could hear him shout for me but I was already out the door and hurrying to catch the bus before missing it.
Shit..! I thought as the bus was just getting ready to close their doors and pull off, "Wait! Slow down!" I yelled in attempt to grab the drivers attention.
Luckily he heard me and stopped his doors from closing. I quickly got in and sighed loudly."Slept in late?" The driver asks while chuckling and closing the doors to the bus, driving off.
Trying to catch my breath, I nod and laugh nervously. "Y-yea. Plus my alarm didn't go off so I was in a bit of a rush." The driver laughs and continues to keep his eyes on the road, "well glad you could join us today."
I slide down in my seat a little, regaining my breath and looking out the window until I made it to my stop.
A few minutes later The driver lets me off at the house and drives off to head to his next stop. The first thing I see is Gon and knuckles carrying big black trash bags and throwing them into the back of their van. Gon notices me and waves, running up to me with his shirt in his hand, which is supposed to be on his chest...
"Killua! I have some good and bad news to tell you..But first..how are you? You alright?" He asks in between pants from the bags and running he just did.
"Y-yeah um..I-I'm fine. And what did you guys do now?" I say sighing and crossing my arms, already guessing what wrong things he could have possibly done while I was gone.
He uses his shirt to wipe the sweat off his chest and face, then takes his attention off of me and towards the house. "Well the good news is, we got the living room, floor repair done. And the bad news is..." Gon pauses for a second and laughs nervously.
"A chuck of the roof suddenly broke and fell into the upstairs floor...now there's a huge hole that might take thousands to fix."
Is he serious or is he just trying to pull my nerves? I know the house is in really bad condition, but at this point, every time something is fixed, something else breaks and makes me lose half of my money.
"Okay, just let me find my credit card in my bookbag. I need to head to the bank to see how much I left." Before I could head into the house to find my bookbag, Gon grabs my arm and pulls me towards him.
"Gon w-what the hell?!" I stare up at him, and his face is in complete shock and fear. Definitely never seen those features on him before..
