"Herb."

Herb glanced over, Sparkling had put his glass aside and looked down. A hand holding up Sparklings gorgeous gold fabric robe and his other free hand holding up his gold and laced one eyed mask.

"Sparkling?"

Both men walked over to each other and just stared. The ballroom had just started to get packed with dozens of couples, getting ready for the next song. Oh and Mint Choco cookie never failed to give such breathless and lively music. Such beauty and such phenomenon of organized patterns. "You look..good."

"Haha, that's the third time you say it Sparkling." Smiled, Herb.

"Allow me this dance. We can dance as dance partners, you know." Said he. He, whom made drinks frizzling with alcohol and elegant juices for the Grand Holly berry Ball. Who wouldn't want to dance with him?

"Oh, I'd love to."

Walking over to meet Sparklings eyes. Seeing how such his eyes themselves, sparkled. His face tinted in a rose pink, hair to the side and chest exposed. Hands met each other as both went along to the main ballroom floor. And thus, the song began.

Paino keys were played, smoothly, the tone sounded criminal. Deeper notes were played, and the main part was about to begin as well. The dance.

Sparkling held Herbs waist and holded his soft hand up to the air. Herb followed. Eye contact never broke and both were looking to eachother with eyes of wonder. What the hell is going to happen after this goddamn dance?

The paino sung into beauty. The violin was gracefully played. Whispers and laughter were heard by the couples dancing. Thrill of romance hit the air harder than before.

Yet, as moving as the song was, everyone danced slowly. The gorgeous women twirled in their corset dresses, some other women followed with their partner in smooth tuxedo fabric, the best of its kind.
Dresses twirling, high heels dancing onto the floor.

But there was, Herb and Sparkling. Both men holding eachother in casual grace, twirling to the song, left to right, right to left and so on.

The violin started to doze into a thrill of a tone. Faster than the few past notes. Sparkling did his best to not trip onto his own exaggerated over sized robe, along with Herbs own robe. But damn, how pretty did Herb look. His own hair locks and pretty brown eyes. Smile so pure and lips so soft. Hands so elegant yet so smooth. Body like no other, better yet, voice like no other.
Movements so rapid, Sparkling had no idea what he was doing anymore. The music just..picked him up and vanished away. Enjoying the time with Herb.

They danced and danced. The music was so loud, no one was paying attention to anything but their partner. Especially, Sparkling.

It was the climax of the song. The loud violin noted exaggerated beauty and drama. Mint Choco was losing his damn mind while his hands worked so hard, noting every single music note to create God's amazement. Music.

The song was leading to an end, about time. Sparkling could feel his hands getting sweaty and his feet starting to burn.

One last twirl and Sparkling held Herb. Herb extended his arm and his other free hand went over the hold and admire Sparkling face. Blush covered both men's faces. They were falling deep for eachother and the song knew it. The song released its final dramatic ending and everyone bowed to the man of the hour, Mint Choco. Then, the ceremony continued.

Sparkling let go of Herb.
"Thank you..Sparkling. For everything!" Herb reached to Sparkling clothes, grasping them tightly, which got Sparkling off-guard and yelped.
"You danced with me and God, are you sure your single?" Joked Herb. He Giggled to his own joke.

"Well, I am single. Hopefully not for long." Sparkling teased. Reaching out to grab Herbs soft hand again. A gasp was let out by Herb and Sparkling pressed his body against Herbs. His face was just a few inches away, and man did Sparkling watched him. Watched how red Herbs cheeks had gotten. Watched how Herb squirmed a little with nervous chuckles and unauidable whispers.

"Herb. Please..look at me." God help me. Jesus.
Herb faced Sparkling, eyes widened when he saw his face so close to his and his eyes so watery.

"Sparkling..?"
"Herb. I danced with you with a beauty of a song and I can't do this anymore. I feel so in love with you it's bothersome. I want to touch your hands, your hair and look at you."

Sparklings hand held Herbs right cheek and herbs hand held Sparklings in place, not letting go anytime soon.

"Go out with me. If you please.." Pleaded he. Looking down in fear of rejection. Only just to hear some laughs coming right off Herbs mouth. Dread followed inside Sparklings stomach.

"Sparkling, you have no idea how much I've been wanting to tell you the same. I'm so happy you've told me." Still, not letting go of Sparklings hand, pressed onto his own face.

No one said another word. Not that they needed to anyways. Just their presence was enough for eachother.

That night was such merry-go-around life. The violin hit off again, paino keys pressed along lines of paper sheets. Glasses clinking with other glasses, dresses twirled once again and everyone seemed to dance again.

"Say Sparkling..what about another dance?" Offered Herb, looking towards Sparkling, kissing his hand, he accepted.

"I thought you'd never ask."

A kind smile was the response Herb gave, and was enough for Sparkling. Sparkling came closer to Herb, his eyes closed by instinct and finally kissed Herb. Whom returned the gentle kiss back.

"We should get dancing you know."

"Hehe, You're right."

Both walked over to the ballroom floor once again. And repeated history. Just, more romantically you could say.

I'm sorry if it didn't make any sense, I woke up like an hour ago to this song in my Playlist and had to write something up. 😋
