So before I start with the character introduction or anything I wanted to give a quick summary of what I understood about the Omegaverse ^.^

What is Omegaverse?
Omegaverse is a AU(alternate universe) in which males can get pregnant. More specifically Omega males.
BMIn this system, there are three main roles: Alpha, Beta, and Omega.
Let's elaborate on them,

Alpha
The Alphas are the more aggressive ones out of everyone. They are the larger and stronger ones, the dominate ones in bed. They are the males or females pumped full of testosterone.
Alpha scents or pheromones are very strong, powerful, pungent.
The pheromones the Omega releases help the Alpha.
In almost all of the verses, there is a lot of semen being released. Some verses have knotting, which basically means the Alpha's penis enlarges at the base to lock inside the Omega, giving them a better chance at breeding and producing offspring. All Alphas have larger penises and are the ones to fight over an Omega.
There are somewhat of three types of Alphas, normal Alphas are the most common then there's two more different types of Alphas which is Dominant Alphas and Receive Alphas, both of which aren't that common.

Omegas
Omegas are the softer and more gentle of these roles. They are the nurturing parents who raise their children and they are the only ones in here who can get pregnant besides Beta females.
The female Omegas use their systems as normal, getting pregnant that way and then nurturing the child like they should. But for the males, it is very different.
All Omegas go through heats. During this time, they are most fertile. But the pre-heat is what the males have to go through.
Omega scents or pheromones are very sweet.
The pheromones the Alphas releases during an Omega's heat it makes the Omegas more horny.
Similar to Alohas, there's three types of Omegas, normal Omegas are the most common then there's two more different types of Omegas which is Dominant Omegas and Receive Omegas , both of which aren't that common.

etas
Betas are the normal, everyday guy. They can still breed with other Betas, but they cannot breed with Omegas or get them pregnant. With a female and male Beta, they can reproduce that way. Sometimes even a female Alpha and a female Beta would be able to reproduce.
Alright now that is all explained, let's talk about other things.

What is a heat?
A heat is the time when the Omega is most fertile and ready to mate, or just hide away until the heat is over. If they have an Alpha mate, they will never leave their side unless they need to get their Omega food or water.
Omega goes immediately into heat. Heat lasts from 4-7 days, and begins with fever, mild cramping, increased slick, and increased pheromone production. The increased pheromones are biology's way of luring mates, and it signals to any Alphas in the area that the Omega is fertile. Betas may also feel the pull to breed with an Omega in heat, but the draw on them is far less than it is on Alphas.
A good part about this heat is that the Omega will self-lubricate, which means they only need to prep the Omega a bit more have sex. During these heats, the hormones in an Omega go all crazy.
A strong scent is released during the heats, causing the Alphas to smell it and chase after the Omega.
SPONTANEOUS HEAT:
Though rare, there is a phenomenon called Spontaneous Heat, which is when an Omega goes into heat outside of their cycle. The rare cases where it happens include meeting one's perfect match (at which point both heat and rut begin almost immediately), coming upon an Alpha the Omega is close to in full rut (and even if that happens, spontaneous heat generally will still not occur), and hormone injections. Hormone injections are frequently found in sex trafficing situations, being used to keep the Omegas docile and ready to have sex with whoever comes to them. The only reason hormone injections should be used outside of that situation is when an Omega is having problems going into natural heat, or when there have been past issues with getting pregnant

What is a Rut?
Rut is the overwhelming need to breed. Alphas generally go into rut every three months, though with a bonded Omega mate, their ruts may align with their Omega partner's heats. Ruts tend to make Alphas more aggressive toward any other Alphas who might come near their Omega/bond-mate. Most Alphas get very overprotective of Omegas they think of as in their care as the rut takes hold. They are generally much more sexually active during a rut, since the biological drive to breed is what is guiding them. An Alpha can have a much easier time being alone during a rut than an Omega in heat. There are amazing sex toys on the market of every size and shape, and artificial slick to be used. As long as they orgasm and knot, it will help to bring the rut down in intensity. Of course, most Alphas would prefer the real thing, but if it's not available there is the option.
SPONTANEOUS RUT:
Much like spontaneous heat, Spontaneous Rut is something that happens in rare cases. Finding one's perfect match will almost immediately throw the Alpha into rut. Of particular interest is the non-bonded, but still close Alpha/Omega pair. If the Omega is in full heat, and spending their time mostly around the Alpha, they can send the Alpha into full rut. There are, as with heat, hormone injections that can be given to make an Alpha go into spontaneous rut, but they are usually self-administered, and generally are found mostly in the porn community. Fertility would be the only other reason for hormone shots to bring about rut would be given, and those would be administered by a doctor or nurse.

Suppressants (Heat, Scent, Etc):
Drugs or chemicals that prevent heat activity, mask the a/b/o status of an individual and generally speaking, shut that down. An omega on suppressants will not go into heat. If the suppressants do not entirely prevent the heat process, they dull urgency and desire to mate.

How does pregnancy work?
Pregnancy is about the same as in the real world. For Betas at least. For the Omegas, everything sort of changes and flips their world around especially one who has never had a child before. The male Omegas chest will grow to around an a-cup to help feed their child. The Omegas will most likely be happy about having a child. The Alpha will become more and more protective of not just their Omega but also the small child growing inside of the Omega.
