My Partner pt. 2

I feel like I'm having a writers block one moment then the next its like, BAM! Nothing. But. Fabulous. Fricking. Ideas. Have a beautiful day my sweets :3

After Levy leaves I have nothing to do until my partner gets here so I decide to spin in my office chair and like and idiot I fall out of it.

"Tch" I get up and dust invisible particles off of my spotless gray jacket. I notice that I have a small coffee stain on my white collared shirt and grumble under my breath. (ノಠ益ಠ)ノ

I'm setting my chair back up when I hear a knock on my door. "Come in" I say as I finish setting up my chair and sit down.

I dont even bother to think about fixing my until I see the person outside of the door. My breath catches and I scramble to tuck any stray hairs into my clip or behind my ears.

I smooth down my gray skirt and sit up straight as he close the door.

He turns and looks at me, smiling crookedly. "Hey Lu Lu"

"Hello Laxus." I say coldly

"Ouch that hurts I am an old friend or did you already forget about me?" He winks and I wrinkle my nose despite the warmth that spread throughout my body.

"Well I can't say its nice to see you again." I snarl at him, literally.

"Oh ho ho I see your still as feisty as usual. At least THAT hasn't changed, not that I mind what has..." His eyes roam down my body and I can't stop the blush that comes to my cheeks.

"B-Baka! Don't you know its rude to stare! And anyway we have a case to attend to." I glare pointedly at him.

He pouts, "Already?" He whines.

"Yes already now sit down so I can explain and don't you dare try anything funny" I growl through gritted teeth as I grab the folder for our case. I haven't been allowed to look before he for here but I don't need too, I already know everything about this case.

I open the folder and immediately regret it as I see the lifeless eyes of Mr. And Mrs. Heartfilia staring at me. I play it off and just clear my throat, "Mr. And Mrs. Heartfila, cause of death: brutally myrdered, leaving only their heads untouched, body's were mangled and all be bones were broken, suspected to be tortured before all limbs were torn off from body as all fingers and toes were in a bucket and the nails were gone, teeth were pulled out but the rest of head untouched. Weapon: not determined. Date of death: 11-3-2013. Suspects: Sting Eucliffe, Rogue Chenny, Lisanna Strauss, and L---- ------.
That's weird the last name is blacked out except for the beginning letter...L" I furrow my brows, what the hell....  "I'll talk to Mira and see what she knows.. Anyway we have free reign over this case and we already have search warrants and access to the armory. We have exclusive permission to go to the Heartfilia mansion whenever we like." He nods and looks at me.
