Chapter 21

Darkness. The only thing I hear is the sound of a man humming and water being poured into a glass. I heard a sound of a book getting flipped. Then quiet.
I woke up and Poki was still sleeping on my lap. Mimi was watching the bird outside. I looked at the clock on the wall and see it's 4:39. I almost jumped, I gently pat Poki's head and shaking her a little bit.

Y/n: Babe, wake up...

Poki: Five minutes honey...

I chuckled as I kiss her forehead. She slowly opens her eyes, she looks so cute when she yawns. Suddenly Janet walks in with Rae's car key.

Janet: Guys, come on! We're gonna be late!

Y/n: Is it the Rae thing?

Janet: Yeah! Come on! Also, try to wear something appropriate. Like a cute dress, or something good- Whatever, see you guys in the car!

Poki: *yawns* What's up with her?

Y/n: I have no idea, shall we?

Poki: Yeah!

Me and Poki went to her room to change. Mimi was just watching Poki changing her clothes, I came out of the bathroom and immediately turns away from her, blushing.

Y/n: Oh, umm... Uh... Sorry I didn't know... Mm...

Poki: O-oh, it's okay... Umm...

*awkward silence*

Both of us giggle and turn around to see each other. Poki was wearing a cute crimson red long sleeves shirt, with a cute loose skirt. I have to admit she was so cute I just wanna pinch her cheek! I was wearing a formal-ish shirt, with a vantablack pants.
(If u don't know what a vantablack is, it's the darkest black/color in the world)
We walked outside to see Janet, waiting for us inside of the car. As soon as we get in, Janet goes full speed. We didn't know where we're going. Janet keeps telling us not to ask.
When we finally arrived at the place, Janet took both of our hands and leads us into a very dark room. She closes the door and at this point, the room is pitch black.

Poki: B-babe...?

Y/n: I'm here sweetie, I'm here...

Poki: G-give me your hand...!

Y/n: Where are you??

Poki: I'm behind you!- WHOA!

3rd Person POV

Suddenly, Poki was pushed by someone. She puts her hands on Y/n. He jumped a little. Out of nowhere the lights turned on, revealing Rae, Janet, Sukkuno, Mark, Lilly, Michael, Scarra, Toast, and Corpse. They cheers and laughs at Y/n and Poki, soon Rae turn on a jukebox and plays a music.

Slowly the lights change into a warm color. Everyone was clapping to the beat of the music, slowly Y/n dances with Poki. Poki gaze at Y/n beautiful Y/e. She blushes as Lilly and Michael joins them. Sykkuno hesitantly gives his hand to Rae which Rae immediately takes. Mark, Scarra, Toast, Janet and Corpse watches the three couple dancing slowly.
Time feels slowed down. Poki and Y/n eyes meet each other. The air felt comfortably warm. Mark smiled and muttered something to himself.
As the music slowly stops, Poki and Y/n faces were getting closer. Y/n felt soft lips meeting his. Poki blushes as Y/n puts his hands on her cheek.

Mark: I wish Amy was here, too bad she has to guard the house and the dogs.

Scarra: Huh... They look so...

Toast: Perfect together

Janet: They are...

Time Skip (Back home)

Y/n was taking a bath that evening. He felt something blocked something from him, his heartfelt quite heavy. He don't know what it is, he blanked at the mirror. He was numb. But part of him is also happy.

*KNOCKING*

Poki: Babe? Are you in there?

Y/n: Y-yeah! Hang on give me two second!

Poki: Okay!

Y/n quickly dry himself up and was about to put his clothes on when that weird feeling comes back. He zoned out again.

Poki: Babe...!

Y/n: Hang on, h-have you seen my toothbrush?? Y/n asks even though his toothbrush was in front of him.

Poki: I thought they're in the bathroom?

Y/n: So do- Oh nevermind, your boyfriend is being ignorant hehe...

Poki: *sigh* Okay then...

That night Poki and Y/n were lying on the bed. It was just them, and the sound of crickets singing outside. No other sound. Sykkuno was sleeping with Rae, both Y/n and Poki didn't know that Sykkuno was in LA. Poki smiled at Y/n, making his heart feels warm.

Y/n: *sigh* I'm so glad Mark told me about it...

Poki: About what...?

Y/n: When he says if someone give you ten tier-three gifted, they're allowed to join you guys game. Heh, I have no regrets giving you that much money...

Poki: Oh my God, I just remembered! I felt bad at that time!

Y/n: Heh, yeah. I just wish that we could dance with each other, for eternity

Poki: Wouldn't it get boring?

Y/n: Not when you're around

Poki: *giggles* I love you so much babe...

Y/n: I love you too...

Y/n kisses Poki's forehead and drifted off sleeping...
