The portal finally opened up. A bright white beam full of colours that represent each Auro shot up right into the sky. The ground became very unstable and gusts of wind started to sweep up debris and circle around the beam. I couldn’t see anything and breathing became very hard. I was lying on the ground, I need help from Ned. I turned my vision into my Auro seeking vision to find where Ned was and I couldn’t trace his aura. I panicked and started to look around and I saw Mr. Ellington grabbing Amber and pushing her into the portal and the beam became much too bright; my retina could have burned. I didn’t have enough energy to move I was about to give out for good, my hands become cold and I could no longer keep my eyes open, but someone came and picked me up.
Amber’s P.O.V.
He grabbed my arm and pushed me into the portal, I felt slightly betrayed by him, but I hurt Darcy. The one person who I have watched over all of my life so that one day her power would lead our kind back home has been betrayed by the one person that has been protecting her. There was so much light and the air felt heavy, every breath I took made my throat become dry and I felt like it would be my last. I made it. Unfortunately I have wasted my entire life for this. The planet that I once knew as my home has become nothing but a ruin. So much has changed and I was never around for it, and thankfully I wasn’t. It appears that no one is left but I want to look around and look for survivors; I need answers.
I made a deal with Mr. Ellington’s family a long time ago because I knew their generation would advance and forget about our kind, but the knowledge of our existence was passed down from generations therefore I had to keep my deal, once I enter my home planet I need to bring back an aura for their family so that they can implement it into their family blood stream. Tears roll down my face and I fall to the ground. I turn and notice that the portal had shrunk and I realized I don’t have much time.
I have walked for over an hour it seems, and I’m guessing the portal has closed by now but I still have this shred of hope inside that I’m going to find something. If I don’t then I don’t care because I have lived a long life, I wouldn’t mind dying in my home planet. I need to try and save what is left of this planet. In the far distance I can see what looks to be a fallen spaceship.
Ned’s P.O.V.
She was so cold, her hair was still violet and her eyes were shut. Her body just lay there on the ground, not moving or breathing. I have lost Darcy once and for good. I picked her up and moved her out of the temple. I took her outside and there was still daylight left; I cradled her body close to mine. I looked at her face for one last time before I leave to stop my father, her eyes opened and her iris was glowing violet.

“Ned it’s time.”
“How is this happening?” Says Ned while tears stream down his cheeks.
“Amber has been teaching me to awaken only one of my auras. She knew what was going to happen so she prepared me for this day. She knew what she was doing was wrong that is why she never let me unleash my second aura. Ned, we need to go back inside and save Amber because whatever is happening inside will not last since I gave up my weakest aura. I am more powerful than ever because my dominant aura is now flowing through my whole body. I can now apply everything you guys every taught me.”
“I don’t know what my dad is capable of doing.” Says Ned.
A helicopter flew by the hidden area; I think Mr. Ellington had call upon his men to secure the perimeter. I don’t think he knows that I still have the aura which he seeks therefore he didn’t make the effort to stop Ned from rescuing me out of the sacred temple.
