Gonta and Miu went deadly quiet.

Why did this have to happen?

I was too afraid to fight for myself. And too afraid of the consequences afterward. So I manipulated someone into doing the dirty work for me. So I wouldn't suffer from my consequences.

Why did Shumai have to be pulled into this?

Why was Team Danganronpa even lying to us about him being the mastermind?

Why is anything right now?!

JUST WHY-

"Puhuhuhuhu! I never knew that was what the gremlin meant when he wanted to re-use the motive!

"If this is what he was planning from the start, I would have re-used other motives earlier!"

"Upupupupupupu!"

Fuck... Must of zoned out again.

Shuichi was sitting on the trial ground floor. Miu and Gonta's death portraits were on the floor in front of him.

Wait... Was he the one who...?

"Miu... Gonta..."

"I've... Never heard Kokichi yell like that before..."

"Kaito's never yelled at me before..."

"Oh yeah! That trial was such a rollercoaster of fun! Oooh, what the events of this trial did to everyone! I'm so excited I could just...!"

"STOP!"

"Just... Stop..."

Monokuma didn't say anything else after that.

Flashes. Again.

Monokuma and Shuichi were sitting across from each other. Shuichi was fiddling with something and Monokuma was holding what appeared to be some... Uno cards?

Why the hell would they need-

"...Monokuma...?"

He sounded so... Nervous? Upset?

"Hm? What?"

"...Can I... Just ask... Something...?"

"..."

"I- I know it sounds cliche and all... B-but... I just need..."

"To talk..."

"To someone..."

"...Alright... Go for it."

"Am I a bad person...?"

Those words pierced my heart like a dagger.

"After everything... I've done... Am I still a good person?"

"Whaddaya' mean by that?"

"I framed Kaede for murder. And murdered Rantaro."

"I made Kirumi believe a lie. Ryoma thought he had no reason to live..."

"I gave out a book that could 'revive a deceased student.' And Angie believed it until the very end..."

"And... I had a key card with information on 'the outside world.' Gave it Kokichi, and had him practically murder two people..." 

"So... Am I...?"

"Well, by definition, yes. Your friends deaths are very much your fault."

"What?! No! They're not!" Kaito finally speaking up. Yelling at the screen like he was actually part of the conversation.
