The New Kid

Just like any other day, school. Shits so boring and nothing ever fun to do apart from lunch and break. Sigh.. Please let this day be over

Y/n's POV

"Morning, Mum. I'm straving what's for breakfast?"

"Oh hunny, I'll make something for you on the go, you're a bit late you know."

"It's alright, You can just tell them not to give me a detention, right?"

"Okay, grumpy pants I will. Pancakes or Waffles?"

"What about both"

"Roger that"

We both giggled as we both helped to make breakfast, my mum isn't so bad actually she's great and fun she's always been by my side ever since day one, when I was born.

I finished taking a shower and getting on my uniform, our uniform wasn't the best but it was stylish I guess. I was on my way to school hoping I won't see any of creepy my neighbors hanging out in the front yard just to say hello or hey sweet cheeks. Im tired of those sickos. Seriously

I arrived at school surprisingly, coming to school on time. I met up with my friend, Moe and Ame

"Yooo! Over here!!" screamed Ame.

"Quiet down Ame.." Moe whispered

I spotted the two and ran up to them seeing Ame bursting with energy.

"Guess what!!"

"What Ame?" You questioned.

"There's a new kid in school!!"

So there's a new kid. Hope they aren't annoying like every other kid.

"Ohh, That's cool. Well I gotta go, class is about to start."

"Okay Y/n!!" Ame shouted waving her hand to wave goodbye.

I waved goodbye to her too and went to class. It was crowded like always and kids shouting at one another. It's way to early for this.

I got to class and sat in my assigned seat, I sat with Moe in first period so that doesn't suck he's quiet but a fun person.

"Settle down everyone, I would like to introduce our new form member, Would you like to introduce yourself." Our teacher exclaimed

That's the new kid, wonder how he looks like, or even sound like.

"Hi, I'm Kai, 17 and I like reading."

Hm, he's not so bad he seems cool.

During form time, I felt eyes upon me, like someone is watching me. I looked behind and the new kid was staring at me. When ours eyes locked, he looked away like he was embarrassed. I didn't think of it as much maybe he was curious. I don't mind that but it was kinda weird how he turned red so suddenly. Oh well.

Form time was over and we had break, finally!! I've finally can eat these wraps my mum gave to me. As soon as I was gonna take a bite, I heard a small voice coming from behind me. It was Kai.

"Um, Hi Kai. You alright?"

He turned really red and looked away.

"Y-Yeah I'm alright.. I-is this seat taken?"

My friends, Moe and Ame take part in a club in the morning so they can't sit with me today so..

"No, No it's not. You can sit down if you like"

"O-oh! Thank you! I mean, thanks"

Kai POV

My cheeks are heating up, bro why now? I got to an attractive woman, so pretty, so intelligent on the first day of school! I was wanting to focus today but I can't because I have them in my head.. UGH. My head hurts.

I sat down beside her slowly, her scent was.. so beautiful and pretty like herself it smelt like roses.. or a bouquet of flowers all different colours to show how beautiful she is- Oh my god. I sound so creepy now.. I need to think and not about her.

"So what do you like to do?" I asked

"Oh me? I don't like many things instead of reading and cartoons" Y/n replied

"Oh! I love cartoons as well! It may sound childish but they are really entertaining!"

"They are entertaining. I get called a child watching them but I couldn't care less"

The way she says it makes her so confident and dominant... Is she a dominant?

Authors POV

They both talked about their likes and dislikes till break was over. They became very close after that day they spoke to eachother every day, you even introduced Kai to your friends, Moe and Ame. They liked Kai very much so he's a member of your small squad you had going on.
