Imagine this, if you can.
You die
that's it, you've come to the realization that life is indeed short and that you have came to the end of it. When you wake up again, all you see is black.
no light, nobody around... just you and the black abyss that you would probably be in or eternity.
"Don't you think it's odd that you expected something good to come out of the after life?"
a sudden voice appeared out of no where and here you are, confused. trying to figure out who's talking and where are they coming from?
You try and swim around, in hopes of finding the mysterious person, though there's no luck. for they aren't even there. Just a ominous voice from over the darkness.
Luckily it continued to speak.
"I can see why your confused, that's how most people react when they first arrive here. We just don't tell them much because this is almost practically hell."
The sudden warning from the voice made you tremble, and you pleaded towards it in hopes that they will hear your cries for help. Still unsure what to do.
A clock appeared in the distance, and the voice began to speak once more. "Walk towards that clock, the more you get closer. the soon you'll be at your new home."
The voice only grew louder just then, you noticed that they have became more calmer now, while at the same time. it felt like pairs of eyes watched your every last move.
finally, you reached the clock. the only and last thing of hope that lies in front of you, as your hand grabbed the clock. gravity took control, breath hitching as you began to fall.
The mechanical device falling right by your side.
murmurs began to fill your head to the brim, hallucinations formed right in front of you. Your blood ran cold.
It felt like you fell for hours, until you came to a holt. Dropping onto the new ground, when your head rose up your eyes shined with relief.
A city existed, even though it isn't heaven or hell you can't help the compelling fact that you finally feel comfort.
"Welcome my citizen."
