Chapter 1: A new beginning into eternity

"This morning, i saw something strange.." A shorter and tubbier man with messy hair looked up towards his tall friend. their tail moving slightly,  "when i was walking down the street towards town square. This racoon like women stood on the opposite side. She held this basket of buttercups and had this expression as if she was holding back tears or if she lost hope in someone."

The tall one spoke after he finished, "I understand how you feel Ted. But we mustn't associate with others life. even though were dead, we have limits when it come to things like that."

Ted looked back down and sighed, pulling out a cigar "I guess your right Pain, maybe we shouldn't try and get in between something like this. Besides, it could've been something minor She was probably nervous about learning her time was up and that she couldn't do anything about it."

Pain smiled a little under his two masks nodding, "exactly. But what's been up with you lately? usually your more laid back and wouldn't seem to care about things like that."

The younger puffed a cloud from the lit cigar, blowing it upwards. "Not sure maybe i'm just tired of how things go for me. I can't exactly blame myself, this place is  miserable! All people do is walk around and hang out with each other.  To make things worse it's like they forgot that  they're not alive anymore."

Pain looked at the boy, with a little bit concern in his eyes. Than scoffing a laugh, "You should be grateful that your time is up. At least you don't have to look forward towards a death that inevitable."

Ted only looked at him and sigh shaking his head, forgetting what he was about to say. "Whatever, lets just go to sleep already."

The older looked puzzle by his eagerness or sleeping, since ted is usually known for being a smoker and would rathe have time to himself. But he will just have to wait until the morning time in order to speak again.
