there are countless poems and novels that you can read that will tell you what love is "supposed to be".
you can sit for hours and read line by line of how the girl falls for the guy becuase of the look in his eye.
i think i disagree with the poets.
i think love is something that can be broken.
it's not always there at first sight.
it's not always changing after midnight.
it's not about the way they smiled or the spark of light.
it's the simple things.
the things that make you feel alive,
that make you feel loved.
it's gritty and rough and finding it is tough.
it's raw and unfiltered, it's uncensored and scary.
it's not like the movies, or described by the poets.
it's how you see the other person, and what Aphrodite throws us.
some spend their life searching for a fairytale, looking for their happily ever after.
what i one day hope everyone can see, is that love is the whole book, not only one chapter.
