Chapter 12: Cale's lady day(1)

Alberu played the record again, again and again.

He didn't know whether he was supposed to feel happy because he already found the girl he had been searching for or he was supposed to be disappointed because that girl used to be a man that was famous for being a trashy young master.

However, when Alberu accidentally bumped into her, Alberu saw no trash in her. She even told Alberu to be careful because he may bump into old people if he walked carelessly.

The two children seemed to love her too. No one will love trash, right?

Alberu saw how she treated the children gently. No trash will act like that. No wonder why those children love her. Her knight seemed to treasure her a little too much too.

Maybe...Rumor is just a rumor?

Alberu sighed and carefully put the recording orb inside his drawer. If his aunt know that the girl he had been searching for was Cale Henituse, his aunt sure will making fun of him.

He will be embarrassed for the rest of his life!

Alberu took out the recording again and played it for the last time before putting it back in the drawer.

The way Cale Henituse smiled at her carriage driver was so sweet. He wonder what the lucky carriage driver made so that she rewarded him with her gentle smile.

Alberu wanted to know so that he can make Cale Henituse smile.

Thinking about it made Alberu subconsciously fall for the red-headed even more.

Alberu clenched his chest. His heart was beating louder and fast. He never felt like this before whenever he met a beautiful lady.

Female Cale Henituse is just built differently.

Alberu sighed for the nth time.

He knew that he'll meet Cale again at the banquet because he saw her name on the list but how was he supposed to act at that time?

Will, his heart work together with his brain so that it didn't act out of control which can make him accidentally express his feeling?

Alberu sighed.

"Hopefully, I don't accidentally confess when talking to her."

"Young lady Cale, you had received another invitation to a tea party but this time is from Marchioness Ailan," Emma said as she approached Cale who was laying on the bed. Her forehead wrinkled a little.

Since the rumor about Cale Henituse turning into a woman had been confirmed, Cale started to receive many invitations to tea parties, banquets, and birthday parties.

Unfortunately for them, Cale did not even bother to open the letters and just threw it away.

Emma looked at Cale worriedly. She knew that Cale was struggling against the pain that all ladies must experience every month in a specific week right now.

A period cramp.

"Throw that away."

Cale's voice mixed with a groan as she spoke. Her eyes were tightly closed and cold sweat dripped out of her skin. Cale also was curling her body inside of her blanket. Her small body looked even smaller as she does that.

It made Emma concerned. She knew how painful period cramp was since she was a woman herself but young lady Cale used to be a man and this was her first time experiencing it.
