❝ guess he wants to play, wants to play,
a lovegame, a lovegame ❞

Crystal clear, the water trickled out of the fountain, the centrepiece of the park, as the late winter sun began to sink below the city skyline. On the fountain's stone edge sat Sasha and Niccolo, both giggling and blushing furiously as Sasha made a joke and grabbed onto Niccolo's arm, trying to contain herself.

"Do you think they know that they're in love?" you sighed to the man sat beside you.

"Yeah... They're both too big of an idiot to make the first move," Jean muttered back, his head resting in one of his hands as he watched Niccolo splash Sasha with the fountain water playfully.

"Me and you should set them up, or something. If I have to look at them flirt for another day I think I might hurl," you suggested.

The fawn-haired man snickered slightly at your comment, his eyes still transfixed on the couple in front of you.  Both of you paused, Sasha and Niccolo not even noticing you staring at them in amusement - they were too busy being caught up in each-other's eyes to so much as notice anyone else's.

"Like what though?" Jean asked, turning to face you, resuming your conversation.

"I don't know... I mean, all four of us are together basically all of the time, I'm sure if we just trick them into overly-perfect romantic situations, one of them will see it as the right moment to confess," you plotted and stroked your chin with your thumb.

"Someone's brooding," Jean laughed at your hand gesture.

"Oh shut up, you dork."

There was another pause between you as Niccolo placed another straw in his milkshake, and offered it to Sasha. Their bright, adoring eyes locked onto each-other as they both sipped on their respective straws, their lips inches apart.

"Could they get any more cliché?" you laughed at the stereotypical, but cute, moment the two were sharing.

"Could they get any more oblivious?" Jean retorted, making you laugh even more.

"Please, it's taking every bone in my body to stop me from going over there and just smushing their faces together right now," you joked.

You took a sip from your own milkshake.

"Would ya gimme some of that?"
Jean snatched the drink from you and sipped up a good half of what was left in the cup.

"Hey! I was drinking that!"
