You and your mom drive home in complete silence. You get home and she sends you to your room. You sigh and go straight to your room and lay down. Natasha sighs and rubs her face she is about to head to your room when James knocks and walks in "hey I'm sorry Steve said you left the meeting early. Are you ok? " Natasha sighs and nods " y/n got in a fight at school. So he is grounded from everything." James nods " what was the fight over?" Natasha " I have to found out. I just sent him to his room." James rubs Natasha's shoulders " Natalia why don't you let me handle it?" Tears peak in Natasha's eyes and she leans against James " I haven't heard that name in ages." James chuckles " well that is your name. Now go relax and I will handle y/n." Natasha nods and chuckles " ok I'm here if you need backup." James chuckles " I got this." He knocks on your door and you look up " mom I can explain. Ok, I was just protecting Tyler. He has been getting bully." James chuckles " hey it is me. And now knowing you are just being a good older brother I'm just going to ground you for a week." You give your dad a look " umm shouldn't mom be punishing me?" James sighs " hey I'm your dad I can punish you." You shake your head " yeah I know but you just show up after 16 years you can't just show up and act like a father James chuckles nervously " umm babe? Wanna come in here?" Natasha walks in " what happened?" James " he doesn't think I should punish him." Natasha gives you a look and crosses her arm " well your father can punish you. And second of all, you are grounded for two weeks and have no ps4 or tv. " you groan " mom I was defending Tyler he was being bullied. I'm his older brother I'm supposed to protect him." Natasha " then you can get a grownup and they can handle it. And while you are suspended from school you will be coming with me to work." You sigh " fine. I still don't regret beating that kid." Natasha gives you a look " oh really? Then no Wanda! " your eyes go wide " mom you can't do that. You can take anything but that." Natasha shakes her head " nope! I don't care. And give me your phone." You sigh annoyed and give her your phone. They walk out and you plop on your bed. James sighs " you are tough. Remind me not to cross you." Natasha walks to her room and hides her phone. " you have to be with boys." James nods " I'm sorry I will help next time." He kisses Natasha gently " umm I can pick up Tyler I don't mind." Natasha smiles " yeah? But we have a couple of hours to kill come here." They make out until Natasha pulls away " I got to make y/n his lunch and start on the paperwork. Let continue later?" James smiles and nods " of course beautiful I better go anyways to talk to Nick. I will be here for dinner." Natasha gets up " of course I love you." She stops " I'm sorry..." James smiles wide and brings her close " I love you to Natalia."
