Prologue

Melissa's POV

Today, I just realized that our father, George Clayton Lagundo Foster, was accused of stealing the money in the mayor of our town's room, unfortunately, the trial ended with a "GUILTY" verdict...therefore, my father is in jail, my mother divorced him and took care of us, and I am currently depressed and upset of what my father really did at work. I have a waist-length, red silky hair, silver colored eyes, and pale skin, while my father has ginger red hair, dark grey eyes, and mocha colored skin.

He was loving, kind and honest, but right now, we have a bigger problem to handle: The money was given back to the mayor, and our family is currently poor again. We relied on our father, he was the only one who worked in our family.

My mother, Elizabeth Juana Benetton Foster, was a housewife, my sister and I were studying in the same school..She has short blonde hair, teal colored eyes and pale skin. Now, my sister's a graduate from a university and I just got fired from my former job because she said I was a playgirl and a cheater...yeah right! He started it!

"Mom, I'm home.." I said as soon as I got inside our house..

My mother turned around and looked at me with a smile.

"Oh darling! Welcome home, are you hungry?"

I shook my head "No thank you, I just got fired for cheating on my boyfriend, turns out my boss started those rumors!" I groaned

My mom rolled her eyes and placed her hand on my shoulders, "I knew that slut will get jealous of you for having many suitors!" She said sarcastically

We both laughed so hard until my sister, Cassandra Benetton Foster came in.

"I'm home!!" She shouted and ran towards while waving her diploma in her right hand..She has long blonde hair, just like my mom (You know the saying goes, like mother like daughter), ocean blue eyes, and light brown skin..She was wearing her graduation outfit, of course..

"Very good job, honey!" My mom said, then we all gave her a big hug while crying out tears of joy.

"So, how was work?" She asked me when we finally pulled out of the hug..

I rolled my eyes "It was great actually, getting fired because I cheated on my boyfriend....NOT!" I said, imitating my former boss' voice.

She started to fall on the floor for laughing so hard..

"G-god! M-my stomach, I c-can't breathe!" She chocked out

"Come on, now. Heave, hoe!" I teased as we pulled her up.

"Hey! Where-"

"..are you're manners, Miss Foster?" A man said, finishing Cassandra's sentence, as he opened the door..

I gasped, it was my former boyfriend: Oliver Reynaldo and my former boss: Miranda Harinda Karista. Oliver has raven black hair and icy blue eyes while Miranda has purple dyed hair and red eyes.

"What are YOU two doing here?!" I hissed while glaring at them..

"I-it was a misunderstanding, Meli-"

"And who gave you the permission to talk, Ms. Karista?" I growled, cutting her off

Oliver glared at me, "Will you stop being so cold towards us, Melissa?"
