Keep low Lucy. Low, and in the shadows. I reminded myself over and over. I have one simple job. Get in, get the jewel, and get out. That's it. Can't be hard right? Not quite. There are numerous guards, alarms and cameras.

It took me half an hour to get to where I am now. Crouched in the corner of the room with the jewel. I make an advance to collect it, until I hear footsteps. Still crouched I step backwards, moving myself back into the shadows, I count three breaths before the door clicks. He has a mask that reaches to his eyes, and a black hood over his head, leaving only his eyes see able.

It took mere moments to understand what this man was doing here. The same as me. However he wasn't nearly as careful as me. He merely walked up to the jewel, opened its case, took the jewel and turned to walk back out of the room.

However as amazed by the event unraveling before me I could not allow this stranger to leave with my treasure, now could I?

I pulled an arrow from my quiver, careful not to shot his head or neck, I shot an arrow, aiming for the hood he was wearing. I watched as the arrow hit its mark and he became stuck to the wall.

I got out of my crouched position and stalked across the room, as I was doing so he unzipped the hooded jacket and shrugged it off, breaking out into a run, pushing the door open and continuing on to race down the corridor. Without think I immediately made chase. Leaving my arrow behind. Damn it. I'd have to retrieve it later.

Luckily I had been wearing gloves, so even if the arrow was found before I was able to retrieve it, I would leave no trace of my identity. Not that it mattered, even if they had my DNA, fingerprints and my name, they would never find me. Not in a million.

I pulled another arrow from my quiver, preparing to shoot another. I didn't want to harm this thief, but only getting his shirt would be a challenge, even for me. Especially one as tight fitting as the one he was wearing. Knowing that he would be severely injured if I tried such a shot I lowered my gaze to his feet. As he was running I watched to see if there was a possible way to get his shoe and not his feet. I noticed he had particularly thick heeled shoes on. I decided to shoot the heel both shoes, effectively nailing the shoes to the floor.

Normally you could kick of your shoes and be on your way, but his shoes had several buckles he would need to undo before he could escape. That's what you get for wearing boots. As cool as they did look.

I stalk over for the second time.

Staring down at him, it was only now that I could really take in this thief's appearance. He had brown hair that flicked upwards at the front, and brown matching brown eyes, a soft tan. He was cute, but not cute enough to get away with stealing that jewel.

While he struggles with his shoes I take the jewel, walk back to the original room, and take my first arrow out. Knowing I probably won't get the other two back, I walk back down the corridor.

I was about to walk out the door when I heard a car pull up. Confused I look out the glass double doors I had been heading for and notice sun light pouring in. To normal people morning sunlight was a beautiful sight. To me it was terrifying. The people who work here will be all over the building with in mere moments. I was so dead.
