"But I know all about you darling."

Two weeks back and things were not the same as before. Draco's been distant from Devorah, giving her the cold shoulder more than usual. And lately it feels like all her friends have been distancing themselves from her.

Devorah was walking down to the great hall, her nose in a book when she bumped into someone making her stumble back a little and drop her book. "I'm sorry, I wasn't looking where I was going." She spoke, picking up her book, only to come back up to meet the eyes of the person she had bumped into, her heart skipping a beat as their eyes interlocked.

She was standing in front of a beautiful boy with brown curly hair, one scar on his nose and another going down his eye. She didn't know it at the time but she had just come face to face with the Riddle heir.

Mattheo Riddle to be more specific.

Locking eyes with Devorah made Mattheo's skin tingle, being around her made his body feel hot. But he's a Riddle so whatever these strange new feelings were he hid them. "Devorah Hale." Mattheo smirked to himself, "Yes. Do I know you?" Devorah spoke tilting her head a little examining his face more.

"No, but you will. But I know all about you darling." Devorah was intrigued by his tone of voice, it brought a small smile to her face. She wanted to know more about the mysterious boy in front of her. "What's your n-" Devorah's words were cut off by her body getting pulled back, she looked up to see Ashton standing in front of her. "What the fuck are you doing here!" Ashton growled at Mattheo who smiled mischievously at his reaction.

"Good to see you to old friend." "Stay the hell away from her." Ashton hissed as Devorah stood behind him watching the two boys in front of her, she kind of felt frozen in that moment. She didn't know what to say, or if should say anything at all. "I don't see what the problem is, we were just having a friendly conversation."

"Nothing you ever do is friendly, Mattheo." "What happened to you Ash? You used to be fun." "I've changed Theo. Good to see you haven't. Just stay the hell away from her." Ashton spoke, grabbing Devorah's arm and dragging her away.

Devorah looked back over her shoulder at Mattheo one last time, only to see him with a huge smile on his face as he was waving at her. And if it wasn't for Ashton she would've waved back. "Don't worry darling, we'll speak again soon." Devorah turned her head back around, a small smile pulling at her lips as a small part of her looked forward to their next encounter and another part of her telling her to stay away.

"Listen to me, Devorah. You stay the hell away from him ok." Ashton stated, not really giving her a choice. "I-" "Understand?" "..Yes." Devorah whispered before pulling her arm out of his grip and walking into the great hall.

She took a seat next to Savannah, they were all already in the middle of a conversation so she just pulled out her book as she started to pilie food onto her plate. She felt someone's eyes on her so she looked up to find Darco staring at her. "We should go up to the Astronomy tower tonight. Just me and you. We haven't really hung out much since being back." Devorah spoke with a small soft smile.

"Were not children any more Devorah. And if I wanted to hang out with you then we would have by now." "Don't be a dick Draco." Ashton spoke as he sat on the other side of Devorah as she stared blankly at Draco as he turned his head away from her, "What do you think Devorah? Savannah and Aiden should totally go out right?" Naomi smirked.

"This is my brother and best friend we're talking about." Jade spoke, "I'm a big girl, I can handle myself. And Aiden is more than capable of speaking for himself, if he wants something all he has to do is ask for it." Savannah snickered which made Aiden choke on his water and Blaise burst out into laughter.
