worlds collide"Did you really just kick me?"
Devorah sat in her bed drawing, she didn't know why but she was drawing a picture of Mattheo. It wasn't him that scared her it was his last name. She couldn't lie looking into his eyes drew her in, but everything else about him screamed danger. But what's life without a little danger right?
"What are you drawing?" A voice called out behind her which made her jump as she quickly shut her sketchbook. "Blaise, oh. Nothing. You scared me. Do you need something?"
"Well I came here for your advice, as you're good at everything." "What do you need Blaise?" Devorah chuckled, brushing her hair out of her face as she set her sketchbook on her nightstand.
"I've recently fancied Luna Lovegood." Blaise sighed, taking a seat in front of Devorah on her bed. "That's wonderful Blaise. I'm happy for you."
"Thanks, I've had to sit next to her in a few classes and she's just so beautiful and free spirited. I was out studying with her last night and I basically asked her out on an actual date tomorrow."
"Take her on a picnic, if you're not too sacred to do it in the forbidden forest? And get her a gift, nothing too extravagant as it is only the first date, she likes crystals I've seen, do something around that." Devorah smiled sweetly. "Thank's Dev, you're the best. And hey, are you gonna be ok?" "I'll be fine, go finish planning your date."
"Thanks, night Dev." Blaise smiled, before leaving, and once the door closed Devorah let out a breath she didn't know she was holding in as she brought her knees to her chin and wrapped her arms around them. Devorah could never really keep a relationship no matter how bad she wanted to.
They only ever wanted her for sex, so when ever they pushed her to far or cheated on her with someone who gave them what they wanted Draco usually ended up beating the shit out of them but recently she feels like even he doesn't want her around. Like their bond which she thought was forever was slowly fading away.
Devorah rose from her bed and suffled on some shoes before leaving her room and heading to her favorite place in the castle. The astronomy tower.
She stood frozen as she reached the top and saw Mattheo smoking a cigarette. "I'm sorry, I didn't know anyone was up here. I'll leave."
"Don't, stay."
Mattheo breathed as he exhaled a cloud of smoke. Devorah nodded, she didn't know why he was faced away from her it's not like he saw it. But she stayed, and walked up towards the railing beside him keeping her distance as she did.
"Why so far away, you had a smile on your face this morning when we first met." Mattheo spoke glancing over at Devorah whose eyes were glued on the stars around them. "...Well that was before I knew your name."
