Checking your phone, you notice a text from your mom. You let out a sigh while replying back to her,

Mom
Hey, [name]. Would you like to come and visit your younger brother today/tomorrow?

[name]
yea sure, I'll be there soon

You put up your phone and got off the floor, which you wish you could stay on.

Rubbing your eyes, you make your way into your room and grab a random backpack since you basically had a collection of them.
You got one like every school year and didn't wanna throw them away because of the "memories".

One of the 'memories' is in grade school, you taking your pet hamster into school by hiding it in your backpack. You figured it would be a great idea to explore the school with him so you brought his ball too.

Long story short, you both had teachers chasing you down the hallways to catch you. Then you went home and got in trouble!!

Anyways, you take that backpack and start shoving 4 things from each drawer in your dresser.

You finally arrived at your mothers house after walking for a while and a nice train ride.

As you go to knock on the front door, it gets pulled open. You blink as you stare ahead of you to see nothing. You look down to be met with big (e/c) eyes staring right back at you.

After a second of staring at each other, you tackle him into a bear hug.

"AAAAAAAAIMISSEDUSOMUCHYOUIDIOT," you screamed, which sounded off to him because he could barely understand anything.

You got off of him and helped him up. Looking up, you meet eyes with your mother.  You cringed a bit before shaking your head and walking up to her.

"Hello, mom" you said, giving her a hug.

She hugged you back and walked into the living room. Something was so off about her to you, it's like the world is a simulation to her.

Like she doesn't belong here.... Anyways.

You walk in to the spare room they have and say your belongings on the bed. You plop down beside everything and let out a sigh.

Letting out a yawn, you get up and go back to the living room.

"I cooked dinner, come sit down" your mom said, directed to you and your brother.

You nodded and walked over to the table, sitting down across from your brother.

"So, [name], how's your stay in Shibuya," your mother asked, after sitting the food down at the table and sitting in her seat.

I'll probably not do these too much but I just wanted to say this.

Expect angst in this story, like, a lot. My mind is just so negative most of the time when I feel like writing lol

That's all, sorry
