Chapter 21: Being home with the family

Tulio and all of his friends were still waiting for Juan Carlos and I to return home.

"Juanin. Luna and Juan Carlos haven't returned in days." Said Hugo.

"I know. I still-" Paused Juanin.

Juanin and Hugo heard the sound of a galloping horse.

"Do you hear that?" Asked Hugo.

"I think their back." Said Juanin.

They looked out the window and saw Juan Carlos and I finally coming home after the long jorney.

"OMG!!! EVERYBODY!!! LUNA AND JUAN CARLOS ARE HOME!!!" Cried Hugo.

"Their back?!" Cried Tulio.

"Come on everybody!" Said Juanin.

"Thank goodness." Said Patana.

Juan Carlos opened the door.

"We're back." Said Juan Carlos.

"WELCOME HOME!!!" Cried everyone.

"Did Luna turn into a puppet?" Asked Tulio.

"I didn't." I said.

"See everyone. I knew you all should've listened to me." Said Carla.

"We all should've." Said Mico.

"Sorry you didn't become a puppet Luna." Said Juanin.

"It's ok everyone. I know you all wanted me to become a puppet and I did too. Who cares if I become one or not." I said.

Just then Policarpo remembered something from when I was born.

"Luna. I remembered something." Said Policarpo.

"What is it Policarpo?" I asked.

"This heart jewel we had on the day you came into our lives." Said Policarpo.

"I was about to get rid of her." Said Tulio to himself.

"Oh yeah. The heart jewel. It was because of all of you. You are my family." I said.

"Group hug and a song!" Cried Freddy.

As we all did a group hug and a song a miracle happened.

"Luna?" Asked Hugo.

And with their surprise I became a puppet. I looked like a rabbit like Juan Carlos but purple.

"Luna... Your a puppet." Said Patana.

"I am?" I asked.

"It looks like it to me." Said Freddy.

I looked in the mirror and I couldn't believe my eyes.

"I'M A PUPPET!!!" I cried with tears of joy.

"Since your a puppet now it's time for the ceremony." Said Policarpo.

"What ceremony?" I asked.

Tulio, Juan Carlos and I went into a private room for the ceremony. Tulio walked over to me with a news reporter microphone in his hand and Juan Carlos asked me some ceremonial questions.

"Luna, do you take the responsibility of a kind, funny and sometimes serious news reporter?" Asked Juan Carlos.

"Yes." I said.

"Do you promise to be in your human form while keeping your puppet self a secret in public?" Asked Juan Carlos.

"I promise." I said.

"Then by the power vested in myself and Tulio-" Paused Juan Carlos.

"We hear by pronounce you the newest member of 31 Minutos!" Cried Tulio.

And so I became a news reporter with my family by my side. I even started to grow a fan base with some fan art along with it. One day our whole family went to the annual "Festival de Vina del Mar" for a live performance for our fans.

"You ready Luna?" Asked Patana.

"I'm ready as I'll ever be." I said.

"Let's do this." Said Tulio.

"It's showtime!" Cried Juanin.
