Carl managed to get back to his people, Negan, and the saviors. "It is Shane, right now they are alone just the two of them."
"Where are the others they are with? The whisperers?"
"No clue." Carl replied unsure of what to say, he hadn't seen anyone but the two of you.
You were busy trying to distract him and escape on your own. If you could get away you could potentially kill Shane. Shane had you on a tight leash, the chains digging into your skin.
"Why, why are you doing all this?"
"I want Lori back, and I want to be a leader." You began to laugh, from the little information you did gather you knew very well Lori was dead. "Why are you laughing?"
"Lori is dead Shane, no more, outta here."
He clenched his fist. "You are lying."
"No, no I am not." You replied. "Really funny joke though, thinking you would get her back regardless. What a fucking idiot." He growled slapping you hard across the face, you glared holding your cheek, he smirked but stayed silent. "Even if she was alive, why would she go back to you? If you killed her husband, and potentially Carl, then why would she even want you. Killing all of her friends is a really good way to ask someone out."
Shane didn't hesitate to slap you again, his anger rising. You were getting on his nerves, your (e/c) eyes glaring at him as you spoke. He stood and began to pace, you looked up hearing a noise, it was a walker. He lifted his gun and took his aim. You held your hands to your ears as the gunshot went off. "That is just going to call more in." You snarled at him. He looked down at you with a look of distaste of his face, you had been correct. Only two entered and he took them out with a knife. You rolled your eyes, waiting, you knew at least Carl was here. Someone had to be coming for you, unless they had just abandoned you.
Tears started to well up in your eyes as you thought about it. Anger bubbling in your chest, you didn't hope they would leave you behind, but with how much death had already occurred, you may be a sacrifice they were willing to give. Shane looked to you with a smirk. "What, you worried your fathers aren't coming back for you? Think they are going to leave you? I mean one already did, maybe they will just get to together and forget about you? I mean who wouldn't want to leave you behind, look at you."
You growled but the fear was eating at you.
If Daryl could leave you once, could he do it again? If lives were at stake would Negan be willing to fight for you?
You were beginning to feel broken, the thought of dying looking appealing. Maybe they didn't need you any more, maybe they both were willing to leave you behind again. If Carl was here that meant at least someone was looking for you, but you didn't know if it was even real or if it had just been a vison.
Shane sat across from you. "Tell me, do you think they actually care about you?."
"O..of course they do."
"Daryl left you the night of the fire, the night of the undead taking over the farm, how could he care about you." You hiccupped tears rolling down your face. Was he right? "Negan wouldn't want anyone weak to be in her family, and look at you, you couldn't even fight me off, you are still here aren't you? Neither of them would ever want you (Y/N)." Shane sneered as he stood, it had been half an hour since you thought you saw Carl.
Maybe he was right, maybe they had left you alone, left you to be a martyr of a war. Maybe they didn't feel you were worth the trouble of bringing back.
Maybe they had both left you behind.
