Plant Boy

Hey guys! It's been a while since I updated this, but I wanted to say THANK YOU FOR 10K READS!! Due to this, I decided to update! Not even going to lie, I have forgotten a little bit about the book's plot, so if I make any mistakes please tell me. Hope you enjoy this!

Nova's POV:

"Hey Octavia, can I quickly go into this store?" The Gomez family and I were walking down the street when we passed a very cute small plant store.

"I want to look for this cactus, I have been looking for the type everywhere in America, but I really just cannot seem to find one," Nova explained.

"Yeah, of course, let me ask my mom first," Octavia answered.

Quickly speeding up her walk where Mila and her parents were walking, her friend asked, "Hey mom, Nova and I want to go to this store, we'll meet up with you for dinner, yeah?"

"Yeah that's fine, just make sure you are not late, were meeting there at 8:00 p.m. sharp," Mrs. Gomez replied.

Grabbing my hand, Octavia basically dragged me into the shop labeled 'The Forage.' "Thank Merlin you wanted to come in here, my feet have been killing me all day," Octavia said as she sat down in one of the chairs by the front window.

"I am going to look over there," I walked over to the cactus section, but not before giving the store owner a small smile.

Looking over the cacti, I was suddenly interrupted by a small crash and a small yelp. My head turned left to see a young, brown-haired boy laying on the floor, with a medium-sized pot on top of him.

"Sir, are you okay?" I rushed over to the boy. The clumsy boy put his hand up to his face and slid his hair out of his eyes. Looking up, the two both gasped in shock.

"NEVILLE?"
"NOVA?"

"Oh my gosh Neville, I have been so wanting to meet you!" Nova put her arms up to go in for a hug, and then, realized again that he was literally on the floor with a pot on top of him.

"Oh let me help you with that," I mentioned while moving the plant.

After helping Neville up, I looked up at him with a smile and pulled him into a hug. "You know I never thought you would be this tall, also I guess Lee wasn't lying when he said you are really clumsy."

"Hey!" Neville said. "So what are you doing here? I did not know you like plants." Neville asked.

"Who doesn't like plants? But I am here looking for certain cacti, but I don't think they carry it."

"Oh, which one? I bet I can find it." Quickly fetching my phone out of my back pocket, I showed Nev the picture.

"Oh! I know where this is, follow me!" Neville quickly ran off to some random corner. "My Grandmother's friend owns the shop, so I basically know my whole way around this place." The boy smiled while placing a small pot in my hands.

"Oh wait, Octavia look who I found!" Octavia looked up from her phone, and her eyes went wide, "Hey it's plant boy!"

A small blush appeared onto the boy's cheeks and Neville awkwardly rubbed his neck, "Noone really calls me that, but hello Octavia.

"When are we leaving because I saw this really cool candy shop down the road and George agreed to meet us there," Octavia mentioned.

"One minute, let me check out real quick, Neville want to come?"I looked over towards the boy. "Um, sure let me just call my grandmother."

"Okay!"
