After eating and cleaning up the dishes I went to my apartment and took a shower. I needed to go to the grocery store so I put a little more effort into my appearance than I usually do on a Sunday. I only had about 6 weeks left until my due date and with each passing day everyday tasks got harder and harder. I wanted to sleep and eat all the time, everything hurt, and I was ready to be done.
I made a list of things I needed to get and got into my car. I had to move my seat back again because my belly was rubbing against the steering wheel. I hoped that I wouldn’t get much bigger, otherwise I wouldn’t be able to reach the pedals.
Halfway to my regular grocery store I realized the car behind me was a police car when the lights started flashing. The road I was on didn’t have anywhere to pull over to the side so I drove a little further and turned into a parking lot of an abandoned building. The police car followed me and I got an adrenaline rush.
I had no idea why I was being pulled over. I wasn’t speeding, I hadn’t ran any red lights or stop signs. Maybe I had a brake light out. After rolling down my window, I sat patiently for what seemed like forever until the officer approached my car.
“License and registration.” He barked at me. He was a large, intimidating man and I got the feeling that no one ever told him no. I dug my license out of my purse and found my registration in my glove compartment. I handed them both to him and he snatched them out of my hands.
His dark hair was cut short, his eyes hidden by sunglasses. His uniform was so tight against his muscles that it almost looked like it had been painted on. Everything about him had my senses on high alert, my sixth sense screaming that he was danger.
He turned away from me and said something into his radio that I couldn’t hear. After a moment there was a reply that was so garbled I couldn’t understand, but he must have. He took a step back and put his right hand on his gun, but appeared to be relaxed.
“Get out of the car.” He ordered.
“Wh- why? What did I do?” I asked.
“I told you to get out of the car!” he yelled.
Shaking I opened the door and stepped out of the car, then put my hands up by my head. I didn’t want to give him a reason to shoot me.
“Why didn’t you pull over when I turned my lights on? Why did you make me chase you?” he asked.
“There wasn’t anywhere to pull over. You didn’t have to chase me, I pulled into the parking lot so we weren’t in the middle of the road.” I said.
“Shut up. Turn around and put your hands on the roof of the car.”
I did what I was told. A million things were running through my mind. I wanted to run but he would either overpower me, or shoot me. I figured it was better to follow his order and have it sorted out later. I hadn’t done anything to be arrested for, but apparently he thought I had.
He stepped up behind me to frisk me, getting way too close than what was needed. When he pressed his body against my back, I took a step closer to the car. He growled but didn’t match my step. He ran his hands down my bare arms, then across my shoulders and down my back. His hands lingered a little too long on my backside, then he ran his hands down the outside of my legs. When he started running his hands up the inside of my legs and under my dress I got scared wondering how far up he would go. My intuition was right, when his hands reached my panties, I stepped to the side.
“Hey!” I shouted at him.
He stood up and grabbed the hair on the back of my head. He pulled my head back and pressed his body against me. The bulge I felt on my lower back let me know that he was enjoying this.
