"laura you're late" my manager, Simon, said as I sighed loudly in frustration.
'not my fault it's not like i can control traffic simon'
I mentally say but as i see Simon chuckling I realize I had once again said my toughts out loud, I tend to do that a lot for some reason.
"yeah you do..." Simon mumbles as I uncomfortably shift from my position and sit down on the chair Simon had not so politely pushed me making me trip and fall over hitting my head on the table but slolwy gaining my balence back as I could sit up straight as five guys come into the room and take a seat.
I could reconize them from the famous band 5SOS wich made me really excited, I didn't really know anything about them or their songs or the band but by the looks of it they are pretty amazing.
I didn't really pay attention to them talking I was too busy admiring the guy infront of me, he had blonde hair and deep blue eyes that when they look at you makes it feel like he can see right through me he sends me shivers up my spine as i gulp and choke on my saliva coughing for air but everyone was way too distracted in their conversations to notice it. Well, everyone but the blue-eyed-guy.
"you okay?" He says with that thick australian accent that send shiver troughtout my whole body but I brush it off
"yeah i'm fine" I say and he smiles in a somewhat apologetic way.
"laura are you even listening to us?" my manager spats roughly hitting the table turning my attention to him
"y-yeah" I manage to stutter out as he rolls his eyes and chuckles bitterly. worst manager ever? i think so too.
"what were we talking about them?" simon says and i stutter, i was gadly saved by calum that was mouthing 'new album'
"u-um a new a-album?" I stutter and Simon sighs and nods his head as he and the others continue their conversation apparently about the new album whate er that means i mouth calum a thank you and actually start listening to the conversation so Simon doesn't have any of those attacks with me again.
Simon can be rough sometimes but I know he only wants my best. And money to support his family. Mostly money but still, he has been going through tough times after his younger daughter Bea was diagnosed with lecemia and his wife Amanda is in the hospital in the need of a lung transplant, I feel bad for Simon but I can't really help I tried to offer money to pay his wife's suregy but he is way too proud to accept it.
"so i guess this is the end of the meeting" Simon says getting up and clapping his hands "oh and laura your bandmates will be here in a second, now me and Scott have some work to do the driver will be here at four pm sharp so don't procrastinate and be on time" he says as i nod, as soon as Simon and Scott leave the room all the guys start an argument over what's better, waffles or pancakes.
"yes ashton waffle team" I say high fiving ashton and laughing, as I looked over at Luke i saw a glimpse of jealousy in his eyes, or it might have been just me being crazy the second option is surely more plausible but still i could have sworn it was jealousy, my mom graduated college in body language so I guess I would know but I don't know.
"we're here!" my obnoxious bandmate Leah says as she walks in dancing, well , I wouldn't really consider that dancing more like Kermit the frog and Miss Piggy had a kid with Beyonce that got into crack buuuuuut call ut whatever you'd like.
"finally" Poppy says breathing heavily as she rested her hand on her legs putting all the pressure of her body on her knees, she was sweating like a pig. An overly lazy pig that had done rhythmic gymnastics for the first time and just got out of a sauna.
"we had to run, the driver forgot about us" Rachel explained as I laughed
"laura's why don't you introduce us to your extremely handsome and hot friends huh?" Leah says with her signature smirk plastered on her face causing me to laugh. I quickly introduced them to the guys and soon everyone was bonding.
Leah was throwing herself at Michael whose didn't seem to mind at all, wich is good most guys get freaked out by Leah when they first meet her, probably explains why she never had a boyfriend and is always so clingy and thirsty.
Rachel was drawing cat whiskers at Calum whose laughed and kept moving making it harder for Rachel to draw on him, she alredy had a butterfly drawn on her cheeck and a weirdly shaped bear drawn on her other cheeck, they seem to be enjoying themselves.
Poppy was begging and forcing Ashton to give her a piggyback ride wich he did accept after a lot of begging and now Ashton is currently running around them room with Poppy on his back as she not so successfully attempt to braid his hair wich i personally think it was hilarious to watch.
I smile looking at my friends having fun, it was nice to see them so happy, I would honestly do anything to keep them happy forever but sadly that's just not how life goes.
"hey laura?" luke says as i turn to him and smile gently
"yeah?" i say and he returns the smile
"wanna see something?" he asks as my eyes light up and i nod lots of times making him chuckle, his laugh was somewhat welcoming and enjoyable i was fighting the urge to film his laugh and set it as my phone alarm? probably, but i just can't help it.
I followed him up the stairs of the building, he took his hands and covered my eyes with them making me sigh and causing him to laugh
"just hold on" he says and I say okay, a few more steps and me almost falling over the whole stairs but luckily luke was there to catch me when i falled. no wait that sounded so wrong.
"there you go" he says freeing my eyes to finally see, my skin imediantly missing the warm touch of his hand. I looked around and saw that we were at the top of the building, it had the most beautiful view i have ever seen, i was able to see almost the whole city from there, the sun was shining brightly up in the skies there were no clouds there and hardly any wind, but it wasn't hot it wasn't cold either it was just the perfect weather.
"wow this is beautiful" i say and he nods
"just like you" he whispered, i imediantly blush, he probably tought I didn't hear it
"what did you say?" i ask fully aware of what he said with a angelic smile on my face and he just chuckled and looked at me
"nothing" he says
I lay down on the cold floor and look up at the sky and after a few minutes luke did the same, he lied next to me and we just looked at the blue sky above, we were silent but not an awkward silence it was a somewhat confortable silence, it was nice.
"there you both are" poppy says walking up to us still in ashton's back as luke imediantly shifts from where he was and stands up making me sigh in frustration.

"we have been looking for you both everywhere" calum says and rachel nods
"where's leah and michael?" i ask still not leaving the ground
"i don't know" rachel shrugs "probably snogging somewhere" she continues
"luke" an unknown girl voice says
I stood up from where I lay and see a not familiar face walking throughout the door, she was blonde and had big brown-ish green eyes and she was wearing a nirvana crop top with some black booty shorts and some grey converse walking up to luke holding a cute little baby and looking at me and my bandmates with hatred same for his
"aleisha yeah um i was just going to-" luke mumbles confused and sighs as the girl, aleisha, i supose stop him from talking further
"oh spare me lucas" she says handing him the baby "just know, you are the one taking care of Lily this month"
"what but we have a tour this month can't it wait for the next month?" luke says, it seems like everyone was just staring at them, like the world stopped just to see this happening
"well that's your problem not mine" she says throwing on the floor a baby bag and walking out and as soon as she does, the baby wakes up and start crying
what the hell is going on here
