Ultimate White Lie

3rd floor.

I didn't need to go far from the stairs to find the first door on the right. If memory serves correctly then this should be the recreation room. I open it and find three students inside. Mokota, Sayaka, and Celeste. Mokota and Sayaka are playing a game of Othello with black in the lead. The game seems pretty tense since neither are talking... I wonder if they added a reward for the winner and if so what is it? Celeste was reading a comic nearby to see the game while being able to read. When she looked up to see who entered she gave a small smile. I approached Celeste since she was by her lonesome and I didn't want to interfere with the game Sayaka and Mokota are playing.

"Heya Celeste! Mind giving me a quick summary about what this place has in store? I mean it can't just be games right?" Celeste shakes her head side to side.

"Sadly this place is just mostly games Y/N. There are a few comics and other entertainment sets here as well, but it's mostly games. It is a recreation room so it is meant for us to calm down. I don't think that will happen for most of our companions because they don't know how to adapt. It is weird to see in a school though." Celeste pointed out more about some specific items here. Shogi, decks of cards, poker chips and a few others that I noted down in the back of my head to use later, after all these are the things that caught her attention. I still had one last thing I wanted to ask before heading to the next location.

"Hey Celeste, mind telling me about the stakes Mokota and Sayaka added for the game they are playing? There is no way they are that concentrated on a single game if it was a normal game for shits and gigs. What is so good of a reward that they would be so into it?" I asked her curiously mixed with a little bit of concern. She laughed with her hand over her mouth.

"Ho ho so you've noticed? I sadly can't inform you about it since this is a battle between women. I am also in this competition as well, but they said I will do a different challenge with them since games are right up my alley." I'm not going to lie, I am a bit disappointed by this answer. I tried pushing it a bit more, but she wouldn't back down.

"Well in that case I'll leave you guys to this challenge. I'm going to go explore this place for a bit longer then take a nap." I wave goodbye and leave the area to continue my tiny adventure. There is a lavender haired girl in the corner of the hallway thinking hard about what there is in store. I, as any normal person who wants to know what she's thinking about, walk up to her. She is mumbling to herself about a few things.

"So the 3rd floor opened up this time... After a brief investigation, it looks like there's a physics lab and an art room. I also found a huge machine of some kind in the physics lab. I wonder what it does..."

"Who knows, I mean we won't know anything about what it is unless Monokuma talks about it. I mean for all we know, it could be the next motive. We could continue thinking about it Kyo, but we won't find an exact answer." I joined in her mumbling, which made her jump out of her state of mind. She gives me a glare, but softens it up when she realizes it was just me.

"You are right about that Y/N. I guess I'll let my brain wander while I sleep. Goodnight and goodbye." With that short reply she heads towards the staircase. I turn right and it leads into a wide area with pillars all around to hold up the foundation. This area is also aquatic blue. There is a hallway to continue moving along but there is also a double door to the left that is open with the sign art on it. I'll check it out first then find out what's next. When I walk over to the double doors two people inside greet me.

"Hey Y/N they have an art room! That means we can color right!" I had to stop myself from laughing at the simple-minded Hina. Ogami just gave me a nod of acknowledgement. I walk closer to them to see what's in store.
