POV: Minx

I flopped on my bed and almost instantly fell asleep. I was exhausted. I dreamed about the stream when I wake up to a crash. I jolt awake and run downstairs. I turn my kitchen lights on to reveal Corni, my cat, on the floor next to a faced-down frame.

"Fuuuccckkk CORNILIUS!!" I yell as he scurries away. I didn't mean to scare him, I love the little bitch. I grab a broom and the dust pan and start sweeping. Once I've safely picked up all the surrounding glass, I turn the photo over. It's the picture of Puffy she sent me so I wouldn't forget to eat...well...I forgot dinner so clearly that didn't work.

I realize I'm smiling and clear my throat, propping the photo back up on the little table it was previously sitting on. It looks fine...great actually, besides the fact all the glass is gone but whatever. I continue to clean the glass and when I'm finial lay done I look in my fridge.

There's a week old half hamburger I never finished, I take it out and throw it away, there's some sushi I got last night that I never ate so I get that out and bring it to my room. I'm sitting in my chair staring at my computer background when I get an idea. I cant believe I've never done this before I think as I go to the picture again, take out my phone, and take a photo mid-chew.

I walk back to my office and sit, placing the sushi on my desk. I go into photos and click on the selfie, sending it to Puffy on iMessage.

CaptainPuffy

Minx: *photo sent* look, it fucking worked

I put the phone faced down and finish eating. Huh that's weird, usually she gets back to me fairly quickly... I frown and pick up my phone, there's TikTok notifications, Twitter notifications, Instagram notifications, but no messages from Puffy.

I open my phone, slightly worried when I see my green text, and under it, it says: sent as text message (A/N: if you don't have an iPhone that means the user on the other end doesn't hav service or any WiFi). I stare at it. She never does this, maybe she just turned her phone off for a bit...I calm myself and put the phone back down, connecting it to a charger and checking the time.

6:45 shit I have to get up in 2 hours. I go back to my bed and drift off to sleep. Thinking about Puffy and praying she's ok. The next morning I wake up to the absolutely disgusting sound of my alarm.

I have a meeting quite early today and then I think I'm going to take a day to myself. I look around my room
"Eugghh" I say and stand up. It looks gross in here. That's what I'll do after the meeting. I'll clean my house for once.

My morning really isn't all that interesting. I have my meeting which was nice I guess, I feed my cats, go to the store to get some food, and now I'm preparing to clean. I start with the upstairs and work my way down.

I listen to music the whole time so I don't go crazy with my thoughts. I'm just about done with the last bit when someone knocks on my door. That's weird, I think, I never get visitors.

I walk over to the door and open it. Standing before me is a small figure in a Pikachu onesie standing outside with a roller bag, a purse and their head looking down at their phone. She didn't I think before the figure turns around. She smiles at me,
"Hey lovely!" Puffy's here.

(A/N: Sorry about the Short chapter, there's definitely going to be another one tonight so don't be sad :) )
