After they had arrived home content with what a wonderful afternoon it had been. It was soon time for them to start getting ready for Agatha’s Birthday-debutante.
Agatha and Chrissy were in her room getting ready when when they started to hear guests arrived.
“Should I be down there greeting them?” She said concerned knowing that she usually greeted their guests with her Father when they arrived.
“No, you are fine your Father said you must make your big entrance.”
“Oh yes I forgot.”
“That is because you are so nervous about tonight isn't it?” Chrissy asked as Agatha slipped into her dress.
“Probably,” She giggled. “And from the excitement as well. I can’t wait to see my Father’s face when he sees my dress.”
“You truly look stunning.” Chrissy buttoned up Agatha’s dress smiling.
“Thank you Chrissy, Thank you for keeping my secret about this dress as well.”
“Oh, I am very good at keeping secrets.” She nodded.
“So I am finding out.” Agatha nodded back sitting down back in front of the mirror. Chrissy began to finish trying pining up Agatha’s hair, but for some reason was not having such a good time of it.
“I don’t know if your hair is just being stubborn tonight or f it is me but I….just can’t get your hair right.” Chrissy said in between taking hair pins out of her mouth.
Before Agatha could respond.
Old sally knocked on the door and opened it a small crack to speak. "Agatha, are yous ready fors the party?"
“Yes Sal," Agatha said to looking through her vanity mirror at Old Sally. "But we can't get my blasted hair right.”
Chrissy placed her hands on her hips. “Well I never called your hair blasted.”

“I can not help but agree with you.” Chrissy agreed taking a step back to survey the mess.
Old Sally entered the room shutting the door behind her. "Oh hunny, don't yous be talkin bout yous hair like that now." Old Sally said walking over to Agatha.”Ands you either.” She said smacking Chrissy on her bum.

"I am," Agatha replied. "But I can’t help but wonder even though replies to invitations came back as yeses that not very many young men will show up.
