Dreamkits p.o.v

I suddleny woke up from some one poking me. I opened my eyes to see every kit and queens standing there. W-whats going on? I asked. Snowfalls began to kit so we all have to go in the clearing. Icekit said.

O-ok. I got up and followed everyone outside. I saw stormtuff run out of the warriors den. I-is snowfall still kitting? He asked. Yes she is. The other queen, tinyear, said.

M-may i go in frostbite? He asked. Frostbite gave a swift nod before he ran into the nursary.

Seven hours lator

We been waiting for about seven hours we kits were playing. Hey dreamkit! A voice startled me. I looked over to see icekit. Hey icekit. I said.

I wonder what the kits will look like. He said. Me to. I said. icekit?! I heard tinyear call. I gotta go but we can play later. Icekit said. Ok bye icekit. Bye dreamkit! He said running off.

The kits are born. Frostbite said stepping out of the nursary. My ears perked up as i heard the tiny mews. And snowfall wants the kits to name them. Snowfall wants us to name the kits? I asked.

Yes. Frostbite said. Well I should go first. Rubykit said. No.frostbite said. Snowfall wants icekit and dreamkit first. Me and icekit looked at each other. Really?! We both walked to the nursary to see snowfall and six tiny kits.

Snowfall turned our way. Hey you two. You can pick any kit to name. But you must protect him through his life nomatter what happens. Ok? She asked. Yes. We both said. Icekit, you can go first.

Icekit walked to a ginger tom. His name can be firekit. Becouse his pelt is just like fire. Firekit... i like it. Snowfall said. Dreamkit your turn. I walked to a plain black she-kit with a white paw. Shes just like you. Mooncloud said. Her name can be.....moonkit. i will protect her like my own sister. I said. Snowfalls eyes sparkled. I love it. She whisperd.

Rubykit walked in next. She walked to a red she-kit. I will name her gingerkit. Did stormtuff tell you what you had to do to this kit? Snowfall asked. Yes snowfall. Rubykit said.

Next rainkit and snowkit came in. Snowkit came and sat down beside me. Me and him were best friends and brother and sister. Which one did you choose dreamkit? He asked.

I flicked my tail to moonkit. Her, the black one with a white paw. I said. Shes pretty. Snowkit said. I think im going to choose the plain white she-kit. He said. I looked up to see rainkit looking with love at a ash colored tom.

I will be right back snowkit. I said. Ok dreamkit. I walked over to rainkit and sat down with him. You should choose him. He jumped at the sound of my voice. He looked at me. Y-yea. Hes purrfect. Rainkit said. I smiled. He really loves that kit. Ashkit. Rainkit said. Hes name is ashkit.

Thats pretty. I said. I walked back to snowkit and saw that he was laying beside the white she-kit. I layed back beside him. Whats her name? I asked. Cloudkit. He said. Wow is she as soft as a cloud? I asked he gave a swift nod and put his head down.

Honeykit came in next and she got a gray and blacke tom. I think she named him spottedkit.

We all walked back outside and sat down. Did you choose your kits? Stormtuff said. We all nodded. What did you name them? He asked.

Icekit stepped up. Dreamkit named hers moonkit, rainkits is ashkit, snowkits is cloudkit, honeykits is spottedkit,rubykits is gingerkit and mine is firekit.

Those are buetifull names. Mom said. Stormtuff? I asked. Yes dreamkit? He said. Why did you ask us to name them? Rubykit asked. Stormtuff had a sad look in his eyes. Snowfall doesent have long to live. She has some sort of deciese and she wants somebody to raise her kits. I looked around and everybody had a pain in there eyes. W-what? Everybody turned towards the apprentice den. Swiftpaw.

Snowfall is swiftpaws mom. So to find out your moms dieing..... poor swiftpaw. S-snowfalls d-dieing? He stutterd. I got to see her. He rushed into the nursary.

I feel bad for the apprentice. I see you named the kit after me. Mooncloud said. Yea. You are like my romodel. I purred. Your like my second mother. I said. Mabye you should ask if the kit could stay in your nest tonight? Mooncloud asked. I dont think she can let me. The kits are still nursing. Your right. Lets just take a nap. Youve been up for seven hours. Ok.

I stopped the connection with mooncloud and walked to mom. Hey momma? I asked. Yes dreamkit? She asked. Can i go lay down with moonkit? Mabye i can give her extra warmth tonight. I said. Its ok with me if its ok with snowfall. She said.

Thanks mama! I said as i nuzzled her chin. Your welcome dreamkit. She said purring. I ran in the nursary and sat down beside snowfall. She was talking to swiftpaw. Why didnt you tell me mom? He asked. I didnt want to worry you swiftpaw. Ill be with mooncloud again. She said.

I froze. Mooncloud? Was mooncloud a starclan cat? I had to find out. I just dont understand why! Swiftpaw yelled, running out the nursary. Snowfall saw me and smiled.

Sorry for that dreamkit. Hes just sad. What do you need? She asked. I was wondering if i could sleep with moonkit tonight. I asked. Of course dreamkit! She said. She skooded over a bit so i could lay down.

I layed down beside moonkit and closed my eyes. Today was exhousting.

As i slipped into darkness i heard one last thing from mooncloud.
