Rejected mate - jeon jungkook

Part six.

It took jungkook a few minutes to fall asleep in his mate's arms. he was still tightly clinging into your embrace, still in his wolf form. " you should put him in his room since his pain is now relived " his mother softly sighed, " I'm sorry misses jeon, I had no idea he was going to feel pain, especially when he was the one that rejected me, I just didn't think that he would hurt and I didn't think too much of it  " you stammered, looking down at the wolf that was peacefully lying on your thighs. you played with his fur, " it alright love " his mother cooed, easing the tension that was caused by the situation. 

" I'm sorry koo " you murmured into the wolf's ear. you felt bad even though it wasn't done on purpose, " poor boy " you mumbled still stroking his fur. you picked him up carefully, he was heavy but you didn't mind it, comfortably placing him on the bed in your room. and closing the door behind you. you decided to sleep on the couch since jungkooks wolf form was sleeping in your bedroom. 

the next morning:: 

jungkooks mother woke up "sweet cheeks why are you sleeping on the couch ?" she asked worriedly, " I put jungkook on my bed and I didn't want to sleep next to him cause he would be uncomfortable with that, so slept here" you sighed tiredly while rubbing your eyes. " go rest y/n, again it wasn't your fault that it happened to jungkook, you didn't know and please don't be harsh on yourself " she reassured you, " also jungkook has done the same to you before, he got a small taste of his medicine " she joked before kissing you head. 

"I'll try not to sweat it " you sighed before getting up off the couch, "let's get started with today," you said to yourself before pouring a glass of water for yourself and drinking it.

the day was spent with you helping everyone clean after the feast and washing the dishes with misses jeon, strangely enough, you didn't feel any mate pain, jungkook went to his room as soon as he woke up, and he hasn't left the room since then. wendy came to talk to him and strangely you also didn't feel any pain, that explains why wendy left the house with a mad expression, since you had a lazy day, you decided to spend the rest of the day in namjoons medical room while reading a novel. 

" hey namjoon " you softly spoke, " mind if I spend the rest of the day in here with you?" you gently asked, making sure he accepts and not wanting to make him feel uncomfortable. " yes, of course, I was bored anyway " he responded reassuringly. you nodded with a sweet smile and on the couch next to his hospital-like bed. " I did what you told me to do " he sighed " what did I tell you ?" you asked, completely forgetting what you told him the day before.

" to resolve this issue between me and my mate, I accepted her rejection" he looked in sadness " the lunar gods will pick for you a new mate after the final rejection you know " " I'm not great at the mates thing please explain "he joked, making you giggle a bit " cute " he mumbled under his breath, which made your face flush into a crimson red color. " when you except your mates' rejection, it takes a month for the rejection to finally be accepted by the lunar gods, and once they accept it, they find you another mate or they leave you mateless depending on what they tell your wolf "

" Really ? " namjoon looked at you with a soft smile, " you seem to know more about mates a lot " he confessed, staring at you with his stunning dragon eyes. " I always thought that meeting my mate my mate would be different " you sighed, " I thought that I would be accepted and loved by him, but the opposite happened. I got rejected and fainted into a coma for two days straight because of his action " you looked down to your fingers. " its alright " he smiled.

 " did you accept the rejection yet ?" he asked you " I didn't yet, his parents begged me to think about the rejection and not discuss it " you clarified, " I'm honestly thinking of accepting the rejection at this point, I'm just hurting him and he is hurting me. ", but little did you know... 

another 3rd person pov:: 

"omma where is y/n ?" jungkook asked, "I think she is in the medical sweet with namjoon, she got bored and she had nothing to do, so she went in there " his mother responded, and strangely, jungkook felt a pang of jealousy rush through his vines, why is she at his place? , why didn't she go to him? he is her mate after all, why didn't she go to him? isn't he important to her, why didn't she consider his feelings when she went to namjoon? , didn't she feel bad or at least a bit guilty about what happened yesterday? 

" go get my mate from him " jungkook heard Adolphus growl, and that's what jungkook exactly went to do, "she's mine namjoon " jungkook growled under his breath. and as soon as he went into the medical sweet, y/n soft voice ran through his ears, " did you accept the rejection yet ?" he heard namjoons voice say " I didn't yet, his parents begged me to think about the rejection and not discuss it " you responded, " I'm honestly thinking of accepting the rejection at this point, I'm just hurting him and he is hurting me. " 

his raged wolf how now knows that h will be matless was now heartbroken, " she can't let us go now, we need her so we can survive jungkook " Adolphus whimpered, " accept her as your mate jungkook please " Adolphus begged before slowly disappearing into the back of jungkooks head. " but wendy, Adolphus... "  he sighed walking into the room that you and namjoon were in " y/n " jungkook sighed, grabbing your hands and placing them into his.

 "I, alpha jeon jungkook, accept you, Lee y/n, as my mate and my future luna "

" JUNGKOOK, HOW COULD YOU " wendy screamed, " I REJECTED MY MATE FOR YOU " she sobbed before running out, " wendy wait !! " jungkook yelled before running after her. 

"I should have accepted the rejection sooner. " you sighed
