Max's POV
Before Dani is able to drink this potion I say "hey!" The prettiest witch says "oooo, a boy" smiling and they keep trying to give her the potion and I pull the main witch away and she zaps me with some kind of lightning. She just messes around with the lightning on me until I'm on the floor and I can't move. The girls and Charlie attack the witches and Dani says "come on, Max, get up" and I get up and I mumble "go" and they all leave and I climb to the top of the building. I say "you are dealing with the wrath of Max the great and powerful" and the witches look at me weirdly and I say "you'll feel the burning rain of death of the wrath of Max." I light the lighter and one of them say "he can make fire in his hand" and I hold it up to one of the fire sprinklers and the water comes down and they all freak out. The run to hide and I get tackled by this cat. He says "nice going, Max, get the book" and I say "huh?" He says "now!" He hits me in the face and I go to grab the book and we leave, catching up with the others. The cat says "this way!" We all just follow him to this graveyard and I say "what's this gonna do?" He says "hollow ground, thou can't reach us here" and jumps through the gate and I say "what? He talks" and we go in and he sits on top of this gravestone and and Charlie sits in front of the grave and sighs, pulling out a cigarette. Charlie mumble "I've sat here for years wondering what happened to this poor girl" lighting and taking a hit of the cigarette. The cat says "she was killed by the sisters, let me show you even more of what were dealing with" sitting on top of another grave stone. The cat says "Billy Butcherson was one of Winifreds lovers, then saw him sporting with Sarah then Winifred sowed his mouth shut with a dull needle so he couldn't tell his secrets even in death." Allison and Charlie say "you're Thackery Binx" at the same time. The cat says "that's me" and sits back on the grave of Emily Binx saying "her life was stolen, so I waited for my life to end so I could reunite with my family again. Then the immortality thing became a real issue in that so I finally figured out what I'd do with my life, protect the house and keep some stupid airhead virgin from lighting the candle." Dani says "nice going, airhead" and Charlie mumbles "I can change that" biting his lip and I bite my lip saying "so, how do we kill these hags? They're old and this is the twentieth century, how bad can it be?" Binx says "bad, for godsake, don't open it!" Charlie says "I was gonna bring the dead back to life, I wanna meet JFK, seemed like a cool guy" and Binx says "whatever you do, don't open it." The witches show up and Dani screams and the main one calls for the book and Binx jumps on top of it saying "fear not!" Winifred says "Thackery Binx, thou mangy feline, still alive?!" Binx says "and waiting for you!" I say "can't they reach us?" We grab the book and run and Binx says "they can't" and Winifred starts saying a spell and Billy Butcherson sits up from his grave and Dani screams and we all run, following Binx into a sewer looking place. Allison says "charming" and Binx says "this way, ladies and gentlemen." We eventually get to climb this ladder and I lift Binx up first and this bus just goes by, running him over. I say "Binx?!" Dani says "Binx!" We go up and he's flattened and Dani just breaks down and Charlie mumbles something then sighs saying "come here, sweetheart" crouching down and hugging her. I mumble "its all my fault" and Allison says "its not anyone's fault, we need to find your parents" and we hear a big breath and Binx says "I hate it when that happens, you ok, Dani?" Dani nods and Binx says "I can't die, remember?" Charlie mumbles "I forgot, sorry" and we go to the party at town hall and Charlie says "welcome to my domain" fixing his hair and we go up the stairs. We look for our parents and Allison and I tell my dad everything and he doesn't believe us and I say "what now?" Allison shrugs and Dani comes over saying "its a lost cause" and Charlie goes up onto the stage, smoking casually as that kid does. Smokes like he's allowed to with his dark hair in his face and he says "this ones for my special people in the audience" into the mic and winks. He starts singing Like A Virgin by Madonna and I swear he drives me crazy. I mumble "cover your ears and eyes, Dani" taking my hat off and running my hand through my hair. She says "I wanna watch" and adults are dancing and or watching him sing then the singer from before gives him a guitar and he has a riff prepared for the song and I just watch. Then he gets off the stage then a minute later I go up saying "your kids are in danger!" Everyone looks at me like I'm crazy and I say "the Sanderson sisters are out tonight from three hundred years ago to hunt down your children and suck their souls out of their bodies so the sisters can live forever and they're right over there!" Winifred says "thank you, Max, for the marvelous introduction!" She starts singing and I say "don't listen to them!" I say "we have to go!" We all leave as Dani calls for Binx and we run into an alley way and I say "this is really bad!"
