Max's POV
I say "so it was real?" He says "based on what I've heard, the Sanderson sisters were real and sucked the life out of Emily Binx to make the witches young again and made her brother just disappear out of thin air. No one ever knew what happened to him, sure there were theories and still are but even if you don't believe, its still a scary ghost story" lighting another cigarette. I say "damn right, that gave me the chills" and we chuckle and after a while our sisters are just trick or treating by themselves, all their other friends left. They go up to a house and we walk up a little bit with them then some rowdy boys show up including Ice and Jay and I mumble "how about we go this way" and our sisters walk up to them, ignoring me. Charlie mumbles "well" and we just stand there and I hear my name and Charlie mumbles "damn, your sister thinks you're cool as shit, Hollywood." We go up and I start to talk and Charlie mumbles "let me do the talking" and says "you guys are so beyond stupid it utterly surprises me you made it to second grade never mind high school. What's your secret? Getting it on with the principal? She seems a bit old for you two" and we leave, them still stunned and Charlie mumbles "that's how you do it, Hollywood." His sister says "I'm tired" and Charlie says "do you wanna go home?" She nods and hugs Dani saying "I'll see you at school tomorrow" smiling and Dani says "definitely" smiling and Charlie mumbles "I'll catch you later, Hollywood." They walk in the opposite direction and Dani and I go to a few more houses and a few minutes later we find a big house. Dani says "rich people, probably make us bob for apples and drink cider" and we look at each other, smirking and we nod then we go in. She says "trick or treat" and she says "candy" spotting a big bowl of candy and I say "candy, don't eat the rich, eat their candy I guess" quietly and she fills her bag up and I hear a "Max Dennison." I say "Allison" and Dani says "ooo, Allison" and Allison comes down the stairs and I say "this party looks fun" and she says "wicked" sarcastically and we chuckle. She says "I like your costume, Dani" and Dani says "thank you" smiling and they start talking about witches and end up on the topic of the Sanderson sisters. I say "its a bunch of bologna but what if we just go to the house of the sisters themselves?" Dani says "I don't know" and Allison says "yeah, I don't know" and I say "come on, make me a believer" smirking and she says "they won't miss me, let me go change." Dani says "Max, why?" I say "she's the girl of my dreams, Dani, I'll do anything you want if you go" and Dani says "next halloween, Wendy and Peter Pan and you have to wear tights." I say "deal" shaking her hand and she giggles saying "you're the best" hugging me and Allison comes down the stairs saying "you ready?" I say "lets do this" and we walk out and Allison says "loitering on my doorstep again, Charles? Do I have to make a phone call this time?" Charlie says "no, ma'am, we going to the Sanderson house?" Allison says "yeah, you coming?" Charlie says "is that an offer?" Allison says "yes, you coming or not?" Charlie says "yes, ma'am" and she smirks and we start walking and she says "stop kissing up to me, Charles, I'm not into you" and Charlie says "well, I think you're in denial cause you feel the need to say that every time I'm around you." Allison says "just shut up" and Charlie says "yes, ma'am" and we get to the Sanderson sisters house. Allison starts talking about the house as we walk up to it and says "apparently hundreds of children are buried in the walls of the house" and Dani says "oh no" and Charlie says "you'll be just fine, love, no ones gonna hurt you." Charlie puts out his cigarette and we all go inside and Allison coughs saying "just as dusty as I remember" and Charlie says "yeah, definitely." Dani says "its dark in here" and I say "found a lighter" flicking it open and holding it to the walls and Allison finds a light switch with the light of the lighter. I say "wow" and Dani mumbles "so cool" and we start looking around and Allison starts explaining everything. I say "the black flame candle, huh?" Charlie says "see if you're a virgin and light it" smirking and I say "lets light the sucker" and Allison says "maybe not" and I say "do you wanna do the honors?" She says "not a chance" shaking her head and I say "what about you, cowboy?" Charlie says "I'm no virgin" chuckling and I say "lets light it then" and I hear an aggressive meow and claws on my neck and I fall over saying "what the hell?! Get off of me" and I get back up as the cat runs away and I say "lets finally light the bastard" and I light the candle and I get this overwhelming feeling of dread and I say "oh no" and all the light bulbs just shatter. Charlie mumbles "um shit" and we all hide when we see three silhouettes of ladies with weird hair. I feel my pockets only to feel nothing except the lighter from earlier and the main woman says "were home! I smell children" and they all evilly giggle and I mumble "disgusting" and they find Dani and tie her to a chair. Charlie and I look at each other and in this moment I feel something that I've never felt before, were inches away from each other, full eye contact. I immediately look away then I hear a scream from one of the witches, the same cat attacked the main witch.
